L'amour probe advanced - anal probe by Cal Exotics - review by Nicky

This toy is meant to be an anal probe, but I feel that it has two uses. First, it does work as a butt plug, though I wasn't able to fully insert it. It is definitely not an anal beginner's toy. It's more borderline intermediate to advanced. I am beyond a beginner, and as I said, it would not fit all the way inside me. The base is a bit on the small side, so you will want to use a bit of caution when using it anally. The suction cup can help reduce the chances of the probe getting swallowed up, but I would still be careful.

The L'Amour Probe also works well for vaginal insertion. If you want something plugging your vagina while you get stimulation on other areas of the body, this probe will do a good job at fulfilling that desire.

I enjoyed using this plug alone and with my husband. The suction cup on the bottom of the base allows you to use it in the shower by yourself. Having your partner slid it in anally is nice too. The curve of the head also makes for some good g-spot stimulation.

The L'Amour Probe is made with 100% silicone, making it a very body friendly toy. There is no smell or taste to the material. This toy offers the velvety coating that many smooth toys are designed with nowadays. Its finish makes it easier to slide into a tight orifice. I really like the design of the L'amour Probe. It goes beyond a basic, straight anal probe by offering a slight bend. This can actually make it more difficult to insert, especially if you are a beginner. This is the main reason that I have not been able to fully inserted it. Vaginally, the bend is great, especially if you insert just the head. You can then massage your g-spot and clit simultaneously. The head of the toy is easy to insert, but it quickly changes from a small size to a rather large one as you go further down to the base.

The suction cup really comes in handy, especially during solo use. It can be mounted to the ledge of the bathtub. Since it's completely waterproof, you have nothing to worry about as far as damages go. It can also be stuck to the side of the shower if you prefer to back up to it.

The L'amour Probe is a rather big toy. It will not be for those wanting the smallest butt plug out there. You will want to save this one for after you've had some experience with a smaller, basic design. To me, this toy is not very discreet either. It's shaped different from most other anal plugs, but I still wouldn't leave it laying around.

Though it is designed as an anal probe, I liked it better as a vaginal plug. It fit better in my vagina, and can could take much more of it in that way. I do enjoy experimenting with it in anal play though. It's almost like a challenge, trying to get it all the way in. I'm still a little hesitant about complete insertion, since the base is a bit narrow. If it had a wider base, it would be a perfect toy. The suction does offer a strong hold onto surfaces such as a shower wall, bathtub ledge, and linoleum flooring.

After use, this toy can be easily cleaned with warm water and soap or a toy cleaner. Since it is made of silicone, it can also be boiled for sterilization. A dishwasher can also be used to clean the L'amour Probe. Store in the package or in a toy bag. Use only water-based lubricants should be used with this toy.

The L'Amour Probe comes in a clear plastic box, making it very indiscreet. There is a fair bit of information about the toy printed on the packaging, but no instructions are included. The box can be saved and used for storage.
