Use

An inspirational toy for those of you headed to the gymnasium for your cap n' gown ceremony to graduate from Anal Elementary--The Pixie Curve will get you from 0-60 in about 10 seconds. Flat.

This powerful, playful pink plug will stretch you if you allow it, but will require some priming (and lots o' lube), without which you may never get it fully in.

The triangular flared base make it wonderful for anal, perfect for o-ring compatible strap-on harnesses (though I personally wouldn't do much thrusting with this toy--it's more of a 'get in and stay in' kind of deal) and super 'sucky' when you wet it and stick it to any surface. The wetter the better for this kind of play (the surface that is... your personal wetness will take care of itself), and the suction is very, very strong.

Material / Texture

The PVC that California Exotics uses in the Pixie has about the equal amount of firmness as a flexed muscle... soft until a point, then satisfyingly firm. It carries a very light 'plastic' smell that is nearly undetectable, unless your olfactory nerves are keen as a hounddog's.
To touch the PVC's matte finish has a bit of drag, allowing for better hold and more longevity of applied lubes, and adding a touch of stimulation.

So what exactly is PVC, you might ask?Polyvinyl Chloride, to be exact. And what the heck is that? According to Eden Fantasys product materials information page--

"In general, PVC is light, water resistant, offers a long life cycle and does not require much maintenance. These excellent qualities makes PVC one of the most commonly used plastics today. General properties include fast fusion and good property flow with high heat stability."

Design / Shape / Size

The Pixie's design is what packs the punch. With its funny antenna-topper bulb that resembles something you'd see flying down the highway, and it's buddha-belly, coupled with its wobbly triangle 'foot,' the whole thing looks like it just stepped out of 'flubber' and got splashed with pink latex. The abstract aesthetics are what initally drew me to the toy, coupled with the bulbous bottom end and its promises of stretching my beau's backdoor to new heights.

At 4.25" insertable length and 1.75" diameter at its widest, this plug is really made for beginners who are looking to significantly 'stretch their horizons.' In other words, if you're new, you should really prepare for a bit of size shock. Use lots of lube, go slow, and warm up with smaller toys. Trusting your partner (or having patience with yourself, if going solo) is essential.

The sharp taper of the bulb finishing at the flared base allows the plug to stay in place, avoiding any obnoxious 'pop!' sessions, where the plug may indeed shoot out of the bum. The flared base allows it to be used in a harness, if one desires--though, as I noted, it's really meant for staying in place, slowly stretching and stimulating the anus while you play with other toys, squeeze it with your rectal muscles, and/or go about your daily routine, if having something in your butt is what gets you going! The base also ensures you that you'll never lose it inside you when those odd sphincter tissues suck it up, never to let it go again (how does that even happen, by the way? Isn't the anus made to push things out?).

The compact design makes this perfect for travel, and it's discreet shape means that no one who wasn't a fan of EF or a similar site would likely ever guess its true purpose (though you might get some "Cute Flubber!" comments).

Performance

For harness play, I'm not even sure this would hold up. I didn't try it, as it didnt make sense to me on a toy that's meant to stay put, but the base is so flimsy I can't imagine it holding up to much thrusting; it may simply pull out of the o-ring.

On another note, if you are successful in warming up enough to push this inside your little hole, first off, congratulations! Secondly, prepare to be wowed. Who knew your body could accomplish such feats? Overcoming these hurdles in anal play is challenging and rewarding. This toy can open up new worlds and sensations for you, just by opening your ass.

Like they say, you open your ass, you open your heart, you open your mind.

(Yes, they really do say that. Some Black + White Magazine article...)

Care and Maintenance

According to the same above-listed EF product materials site,
"The PVC toys should be cleaned with warm water and antibacterial soap. You may also use an absolutely universal solution - a sex toy cleaner."

Feel free to use any lube with this plug. Store after cleaning in a non-porous container, not in direct contact with other toys (as you would any toy).

A quick rinse before use may be necessary to remove any cling-on hairs. Yeah, it does attract dust.

Since you use it in the bum, I highly suggest a good 10 minute boil every now and then. Beware, however that if you toy touches other toys while in the bath, it may come away with a slight rough spot where it melted. This did not affect the performance of my toy in any way, and really couldn't be felt, just looked a little off.

Personal comments

The little ball on the end has a very flimsy neck, and therefore needs some guidance to enter a tight spot. It can also pop back out after bending over backwards, if the hole is very tight. This didn't seem to bother my man too much, but was kind of funny.
A sturdier, thicker neck, however, would certainly provide better performance, however.

Experience

My boy finally gathered the nerve and curiosity to graduate from the Small Silk and try this bad boy out. Lube, hand job, blow job, twisting, turning, breathing techniques, positive reinforcement, you name it. We tried them all. We simply could not fit this thing into his little bumhole. Trust me, I tried! I pushed with all my might.

We'll be trying again soon with the Tantus Acute, whose diameter is less intimidating.

For me, however, this thing would be fine. We've been having anal for a few months and it would be no problem to take this in my slightly stretchier backdoor.
Follow-up commentary
I personally still think this is a great toy, but it really hasn't come out of the box since we first tried and my boy found it too big. For a more experienced anal user, this would be perfect, but for beginners, it's a no go. The neck is simply too short to keep it comfortably inserted, and the diameter is simply too large, and can painfully stretch delicate anal tissues.
