The moon and the stars!

This is a marvelous toy. Taking it out of the packaging, it is a beauty to behold. It exudes quality and it is clear that quite a bit of effort went into the making of this not-so-little beauty. The pink highlights in the glass from the inclusion of gold power make it really a sight to see. Being glass, it does not give in any way, of course, but a tiny bit of lube on it goes a long way. I found it to be a bit on the large size, but after using it for a while now, it is just right. I would not recommend this toy for a rank beginner, unless you have another smaller plug to use to work up to this. That said, I love the feel of it, especially if it's been cooled in ice water first. It is a breeze to clean, since it has no nooks or crannies anywhere...it's as smooth as, well, glass.
If you are not experienced with a toy of this diameter, I would recommend that you spend a bit of time with your partner and work your way up. It is truly a fulfilling experience to have it in, and once it's there you will not want to remove it. I found that removal was not painful, in spite of the fact that the angle on the underside of the plug is a bit severe. When I wore it during sex with my husband, he did not find that it was uncomfortable for him at all, and the sensations that I had were simply amazing.
So...if you are looking for an anal plug that is just a bit out of the ordinary and is really lovely to behold, I cannot recommend the Moon Plug highly enough. It will take you to the stars!

Glass for beginners

I'm looking to get a glass plug and maybe a glass dildo. I am new to anal and I hear that the seamless-ness of glass is great for beginners, so that's it I've decided it. Any suggestions, word of wisdom in relation to getting glass?

Go at least a quarter inch smaller in diameter than the largest thing you've taken comfortably. Glass is hard, and if you can take 1.5" in diameter of silicone or some soft material, then 1.25" in diameter or less will likely be okay for glass or other hard material.
Of course, make sure that the dildo has a suitable base or a suitable length (at least 8", I think, is the recommended... someone can correct me on this) before putting it in your butt, so that it doesn't slide all the way in you.
While glass is seamless, it is unforgiving, unbending, and unyielding. There's no squish. At all. I suggest that starting with silicone is the way to go. Most silicones have only visible seams (if any seam at all) and won't be felt in use. -
I would definitely suggest silicone for anal before using glass. Like Annemarie said, if you do go with glass, get something smaller than you are used to in a soft material. Remember to get something with a wide base when using anal, I wouldn't count on length.
