Plushy gear lovers eye mask is an okay blindfold, and for the price it's a good deal. The blindfold is soft but doesn't seem to have a lot of fuzz or pilling. Its fitted design does block all sight, keeping you in the dark both literally and figuratively. It fits much better than those sleep masks you can get at the drugstore. However it is not terribly adjustable as it claims to be, it simply has an elastic band, so depending on your head size it may be too tight or too loose and there's not much you can do to remedy that, short of sewing the elastic tighter or adding more.

The plushy gear lovers eye mask presses against the eyes in a way that the more formed, solid blindfolds do, and if you are sensitive to eye pressure this could be a major issue. For short term use, maybe ten or fifteen minutes depending on how sensitive you are, the pressure is not extreme and shouldn't be a huge problem. For keeping someone in a state of sensory deprivation or bondage any longer, this is not your blindfold unless their eyes are not bothered by pressure.

The material its made of is not irritating and even on a girl with rather sensitive skin it caused no reactions. Its machine washable so that's a plus, I haven't washed mine yet to see how it holds up yet as it also wipes off and well, being a blindfold it just doesn't get all that dirty. It's inexpensive enough to throw in your toybag for when a little sensory deprivation is just the thing.

I think if your intent is occasional foreplay use this is a good, and certainly affordable blindfold but if your looking for some thing to be left on for a bit, or used during rougher play a blindfold with an actual adjustable strap and more formed mask would be worth the investment.
