Be Prepared to get Tangled
This is an okay toy that serves its purpose but doesn't really stand out in my memory. It doesn't make it out of our toy box unless we are looking to have a solely bondage/SM kind of night. I'd usually just have my man's hand give me a quick swat on the ass instead.Published: April 13, 2010

My partner and I really enjoy using this whip when we are looking for some naughty fun. My first impression was that it had a sort of rubbery smell which was a little off-putting. I have come to not really notice it and I guess the odor has just sort of worn off with time. The overall appearance is pretty good but the length makes storage a little difficult in tight spots. However, you can just fold over the flexible whip end and then the whole length is about the size of an average vibe.
This was our first SM toy and we have really had a lot of fun with it. I think it's a great intro into more kinky toys for the bedroom. I've never actually used the wrist strap but just grab onto the handle itself. The handle is fairly sturdy and it is pretty easy to control but I have found that the actual "whip" end is a little long. I would prefer a paddle or crop if I am looking to spank myself and put on a little show for my partner. He, on the other hand, is totally able to direct his swats to whichever of my areas he is aiming for. When I have tried using this on myself the long ends can easily whip from your behind, in between your legs and up to your lady parts, which leaves a pretty painful sting! It can be fun to feel the ends just sort of skim over your nipples or tummy or to do the same to your partner.
My last point about this toy is that the ends get a little tangled. Let's face it - that's pretty annoying. If you don't take the time to sort of finger-comb the rubbery strings they will get a little gnarled and you lose a bit of that stinging feel when you use it and end up with more of a dull thud on your bum! Our uses have been pretty tame but if you were using lubes or oils I imagine it would be a real pain to clean the ends without them getting knotted.

Performance
I enjoyed this toy after a wax play session. My skin was warm and sensitive and the falls tickled and stung just a bit, depending on how the toy was used. That, however, was the only thing it was really good for in my opinion. It is too light weight to do much in regards to how a flogger is traditionally used and swung, and while it DID leave marks, they were fairly light and did not last more than a half an hour or so. -

I think its capable of delivering an OMG no more please kind of feeling, but 9 times out of 10 you won't get anymore than just a real sting.
I don't think floggers were really ever meant to be used on yourself. I do own this one though, and I agree - the tails do tend to tangle.

Sorry if the review was a little confusing. I see that by saying "using this on myself" I might have implied using this to get that spanking sensation on my own. Oops! I just wanted to be suggest that if you are looking to give your partner a visual thrill by spanking yourself, look for a crop or a shorter whip because that sight could be a huge turn-on. My partner and I like to tease each other with "look but don't touch" games and the sight and sound of me giving myself a smack on the rear end is sexy - but not so much with this toy! I agree that this sort of whip/flogger is not intended for solo use - that would be awkward! This toy is good for sensual play for sure!
