Our first bondage kit was a great first experience for novice beginners into the world of bondage. It's meant for light bondage use, so if you are looking for something a little naughtier, this is not for you. This set is ideal for heavy foreplay when paired with a variety of other toys, such as whips and ticklers. It's manufactured quite well; the cuff straps are a good quality material and are long enough to get creative, meaning you are not only limited to being tied to your bed.

The cuffs are silky soft suede and wrap around your wrists and ankles with velcro, which does not stick out through the sides and itch you (no matter how much tugging or writhing around you do.) The cuff's velcro allows for a snug fit to heighten the experience. What we thought was best about the cuffs were its tethers--like we said, they are long enough to get creative. This kit also comes with a soft blindfold mask made from the same material as the cuffs, which barely lets in any light and is very comfortable after you get past the first minute of it being snug on your face. Being blindfolded allows for role playing to be easier and more believable, which is always fun.

The sizes are as follows: maximum cuff diameter is 4", minimum cuff diameter is 1 3/4", each tether is about 3'4" long, they can be tied to equal a total of 6' long. I am a fairly big guy and they fit me perfectly! My ankles measure 9 1/2" around and my wrists measure 7 1/4" around. As for my girlfriend, her wrists have a circumferance of 6" and her ankles measure at 9" around; she easily fit into the cuffs.

These restraints worked wonders on spicing up our sex life and adding another dimension to our sensory experience. They fit anyone perfectly with soft fuzzy cuffs that leave no marks. The cuffs can be tightened and fastened to create a feeling of being dominated. One thing to keep in mind is to have enough time to set the restraints up prior to use. It takes about 5 minutes to fully set up, sometimes longer depending on how good at knots you are.

The best use for our first bondage kit is to tie the nylon tethers together and string them under the mattress since we do not have a headboard or bedposts. This allows for a restraint that your partner will not get out of. Although, the greatest part about our first bondage kit is that it allows for many different ways to use them, such as using each one of the four individually to tie your partner into different positions, using only two of them to tie your partners hands to their ankles, or even hog tying your partners limbs to one another.

The one thing to watch is the nylon rope which needs to be knotted at least twice because of the slippery nature of the material. It is not impossible to do, just takes more than a simple knot to fully secure the tethers together. All in all this product is highly recommended for anyone with even a slight interest in bondage because of the low cost.

The straps, cuffs, and blindfold can be run through the washing machine on a delicates setting. To dry, simply hang on a clothesline or set on the lowest heat setting in the dryer. Another way to disinfect the beginner bondage set is to use a type of Lysol disinfectant spray (Not suggested for use on the blindfold as the Lysol may sting). For the most part, the straps will not need to be disinfected often, although it is a good idea to disinfect the blindfold frequently.

This product was packaged with an easy open plastic container which did not require the use of scissors or a knife to get into. There were no instructions included, but the great thing about this set is that you can be creative and do what you want with them.

If you have a question of why being tied up or restrained is fun, then I would say it's the feeling of being dominated and allowing your partner to take control. The only way that it can be really hot is if you trust your partner and are open with your partner. A safe word is allways good to have. Talking often about your experience is good because it is very hard to do role play perfectly. Talking about it afterward helps to learn from your experience and change your approach.
