This is my first BDSM kit|Chains of pleasure kit. I wanted something that would allow for sensory play|Sensory deprivation in BDSM, light bondage|BDSM kits, and gentle flogging|Flogging - Book. It had to be cheap as I didn’t want to spend $100 when I wasn’t sure if my husband would even enjoy it.

The kit includes a vinyl blindfold (which smells a little), a nylon whip (which smells a lot), metal cuffs, and a little tub of Fetish cooling gel. I must say, please let these air out before you actually use them. It is torture to wave the whip in your partners face, and the smell may leave them reeling, but not from pleasure.

The blindfold works pretty well. It doesn’t black things out completely, but the sliver out which you can see isn’t enough to tell what is going. I found that it stays in place well and is comfortable. The two elastic bands that hold it in place fit both my smaller head and my husband’s larger head.

The nylon whip is easy to use and soft. The handle measures 4 inches long and the whip portion is 9 inches. There is a metal clip with an O-ring attached to it on the end of the handle. The whip creates a very gentle sting if you really put a lot of force behind it, but over all it just creates a nice painless slap on your skin.

The metal cuffs require some gentle use as they can cut into your skin if you apply too much pressure to them. If you are really wanting something to pull against, then take a look at some of the neoprene and leather cuffs instead. These left a little red line on my wrists when we were done, but it didn’t hurt and wasn’t uncomfortable by any means. They come with two keys, and a quick release leaver that the wearer can easily reach.

The little tub of Fetish cooling gel was a delight to the senses. It is sealed with plastic around it, but it still managed to leak a little during shipping. It got on the cuffs a tiny bit, but this was no real concern to me as I just washed it off. The cooling gel gave a nice sensation of coolness, but wasn’t too intense either. I wouldn’t recommend getting it in your mouth as it tastes bad and the cooling is very strong on your tongue. It doesn’t seem to respond to rubbing, just blowing. It is a little sticky once it starts to dry, but not so bad. Also a baby wipe is quite sufficient for clean up.

This kit helped provide a very sensual and sexy evening filled with teasing, gentle whipping, and a high state of arousal which made the sex wonderful. I would definitely recommend this kit as it is simple and provides a good variety at a low cost. Now that we know we love light BDSM play, we are both looking forward to being more daring in the future!

The Chains of pleasure kit was a great intro into some light BDSM play, and really got my husband and I interested in trying more. We have since purchased high end cuffs and a satin blindfold, a whip, a flogger, and although we have attempted finding a good cooling gel, none have been able to trump the fetish cooling gel that came with this kit. We have since used it all up, and are still searching for a replacement. My biggest complaint with this kit was the smell of the Nylon whip, and while it does still hold some of the scent, it isn't as bad as it was. While it isn't really a "kit" anymore as it has managed to mingle with all of our other BDSM gear|BDSM gear, we do still use the pieces. Neither my husband nor I have ever regretted this purchase. It was a great inexpensive introduction to the world of light bondage, and I would buy it again in a heart beat if I had to do it over again.
