This product is used to block out ones sense of sight. By depriving yourself out your sight other senses are enhanced. Every soft touch, caress, pinch, or nibble is felt doubly so.

It is a very comfortable and well made piece and is perfect for anyone, advanced or beginner, who would like to add an element of surprise and excitement to there bedroom games. Though this blindfold is most beneficial for couples you could use it by yourself if you wished to. I would not suggest using it for a sleep mask as it is not quite secure enough for it.

The 8" x 3 1/2" blindfold consist of three basic parts: the leather exterior, the faux fur lining, and the elastic headband. The purple faux fur is soft and the leather is durable yet supple, allowing for a decent amount of flexibility. Heavy duty stitching holds the whole thing together. All in all this was an excellently crafted product.

The design of this blindfold is excellent. It blocks out all but the smallest sliver of light and should work well on any shaped face. The edges are a little rough though, if it shifts around too much the bridge of your nose could get a little raw.

The 3/4" wide elastic band that used is fairly strong. I do not believe that there is much chance of breaking during normal use.

This blindfold has not let me down yet. I have been using it in combination with wrist and ankle cuffs as well as a set of tethers. It fills an important role in an evening of bondage play. Prior to purchasing the blindfold we used a scarf tied around her head, not surprisingly this just works better. Unlike the scarf the blindfold does not slide off while she is squirming around. It also does a better job of blocking out all of the light.

The only other possible use for the blindfold would be as a sleep mask. However, if you roll around as much as my wife or I do at night, it is not likely to still be on your face in the morning.

Cleaning this toy is not easy. It is a leather product and therefore should not be soaked or submerged in water. Use a damp washcloth and mild soap or leather cleaner on the exterior. On the interior and strap a wet washcloth and soap or laundry detergent can be used. Make sure to dry your leather fully before putting it away to avoid cracking.

You may store the blindfold in the case it came in, hang it over a bedpost, or toss it in your sock drawer.
