When I first received the Explore BDSM Kit, I opened it up right away to see what it looked like. I didn't realize that I would be receiving the Fire Red version of the kit, and although I think the other two color options are more appealing, it isn't bad looking. The wrist and ankle cuffs and the straps each have a clasp on them to aid in hooking everything together. The straps also have a 'D' ring on the opposite end from the clasp so each end can be hooked to any of the clasps as well. I couldn't wait to give them a good trial.

Once my wife and I got all the kids into bed, we got the Explore kit out for some fun. I put the restraints on each of my wrists and ankles, put on the blindfold, lay on my stomach, and waited while my wife attached the straps to restrain me. The bed we used has posts that made it easy to attach the wrists together, as well as the ankles. I found that the blindfold worked very well in keeping the light out and not allowing me to see at all. My wife then commenced tickling and whipping me with a small whip we have. It was quite an experience not knowing what was coming next. I had not ever done anything with sensual deprivation before, and it was fun to try. After a little while, she allowed me to turn over. She worked on me with her hands and mouth; also interesting while blindfolded.

Next, I took the wrist restraints off, then attached one end a strap to each of the ankle cuffs and the other end to one of the loose restraints. I then opened this restraint and put it behind my neck and adjusted the straps to hold my legs up without having to use my hands. Then my wife again worked on me and was able to spread the attention down to my perineum and ass. She put on a dildo harness and commenced penetrating me with a dildo, all while my legs were being held up in the air by the straps. My hands were free to touch her as she was thrusting. It was a great alternative use for the Explore bdsm kit. We then turned the tables and she used the straps in the same way and I was able to penetrate her in a position that we both enjoyed very much.

I would give Explore a rating of four stars out of five. It is very well put together and comfortable. For the most part, it seems to have the parts that a couple dipping their toe in the water of BDSM might need. In order to get that extra star, I think the kit would need to include two more straps fore even more versatility.
