This is my first time using a paddle, but as I loved being spanked I thought I would enjoy this. I was right, I love this paddle, it is definitely on the top of my favorite toy list! I seems well enough put together, my husband was able to give me a pretty good smack with it and the seams didn't fray also the handle held up very well.

I don't get to use this as much as I would like to being as when you get smacked it is loud and we have kids! Though it hasn't been used much I am satisfied with the durability. I don't know how well it will hold up in the long run. I can say that if you are not going to use it much it works very well.

I think this would be great for beginners, but I don't know how well it would hold up for advanced users becuase I don't get to use it that often.

The handle isn't too long or big so it is easy to hold on to. The other end is split in two so when you smack it gives it a little extra noise. The total length is 12" and the widest part which is the top is 3". The heart cut out when hit hard enough leaves a nice little heart on the area smacked. But you have to hit pretty hard!

It is made out of Vinyl and Velvet. The Vinyl is more solid feeling than jelly rubbers and are less porous. The Velvet is a densely piled material with short, thickly woven cut pile, giving the fabric a soft, silky and rich texture, which feel very nice against the skin.

The paddle worked great for us, we took it on a long weekend. I would be lying if I didn't say it definitely made the weekend better! My husband hit my bottom hard enough that sitting was uncomfortable for the first little while afterwards. Of course I didn't mind!

If you do plan on using this toy be sure nobody is around unless you don't care if anybody hears. It gives off a loud smack when hit which gets louder the harder you hit.

It is fun to use all over your body even genitals! It works well for all over the body becuase someone is in control of the force put behind it. Unless you are tied up you even have some say into the amount of force used.

To clean the Velvet spot clean with a water-free dry cleaning product, wiping in the direction of the pile (so the pile lies down). When the fabric is dry, brush gently with a suede brush, first against, then with the pile. So becuase of the way needed to clean I do recommend if you use for genitals (female) don't use against bare skin.

The vinyl is covered by the Velvet so there is no need to worry about cleaning it. It can take a much harsher form of washing then the velvet. So your only worry should be keeping the velvet clean.

The paddle simply came in a plastic bag, so real packing or instructions (i.e. for cleaning). It came with a tag attached to the leather hoop on the handle, but that only had the name of the product on it.
