My personal experience is that this paddle only appears to leave marks if wielded with a heavy hand and at the right angle.

Correct. Also, the velvet material might prevent imprinting.

It seems like it would take a LOT to get it to leave a mark and with a proper spanking your whole backside would be red and the imprints would get lost. At least that is what mine looks like after. =+)

I know it's an old thread- but we've had no luck whatsoever getting this to leave an imprint. Kind of disappointing, since it's the entire reason we bought it! Also, the velvet doesn't really allow for that 'stinging' sensation we've been trying for. You're better off being spanked by a hand.

Just got it, but haven't used it yet. Based on just examining it,I don't expect it to. I think that's just for decoration.

i have had paddles similer and they do leave a mark of the heart of welts of sorts if you use them hard...but if you just use they soft they still have a sting but no marks
