The 2-Piece Diamond Thigh Restraints by California Erotics. How do you explain it any other way? The name says it all! There are straps that go around your thighs that have rings where you hook your wrists to with the wrist restraints. There are so many more uses for this product than the way the box shows. It shows the woman using this product. I enjoyed putting the thigh restraints on my husband attached to my wrist while I was... use your imagination here please. I think this set was easy to get out of due to the weak Velcro, so beginners would probably enjoy this more. It will give them a taste of the world of bondage. Advanced users would probably like something a little harder to get out of. Overall, this is a nice starter set.

While the design is very basic, the crystal diamonds give it a little bit of sparkle. I believe the straps on the product will last a long time. The back of the box said the straps were nylon, the bottom says there made of polyester. I think it is the wrist cuffs that are polyester, in case there are any skin sensitivities to consider. This may play a part in your decision to purchase this item. I am a small framed female; my wrists are 6" around, my thighs are 21 1/2" round. And I would say am a weak person. With this in mind, I think the metal rings, may have to be replaced depending on how much or hard you pull on them. Considering my size I did stretch out the ring enough for the hook to come out, freeing me up from the thigh restraints. I just re-closed them with pair of pliers, then did not pull on them that hard anymore so they are holding up okay for now. You could replace them with something stronger at any hardware store expensively. Both the rings and hooks are nickel free.

Size may play a factor in your decision too. One size fits all may be a stretch. The wrist cuffs adjust to fit up to 11.05 inches/ 29 cm. The thigh straps adjust to fit up to 25.75 inches/65 cm. The wrist strap rubbed my skin. If worn for a long time, this could cause a rope burn (not sure what else to call it).

Overall, these restraints did their job. This is my first experience with bondage and I liked it enough to keep experimenting. I wished they fit me a little better or were maybe made out of something else so they would not be scratchy to the skin. As for finding unexpected applications, only your mind can hold you back. The possibilities are endless if you have a good imagination!

They do not give you any kind of care suggestion with the product. So, not wanting to give bad advice, I looked up on the Internet how to clean both types of material: Nylon and Polyester. Both types of material can be washed in the washer and dried in the dryer, or you could soak in a bowl of warm water and laundry soap over night. You can take the clasps off before washing and the rings too if you want, to avoid fraying the material. I would also recommend putting them in a lingerie bag or tying them up in a pillow case to help keep the rhinestones from catching on something and coming off. Light to moderate use should mean you won't have to do this often. You could just wipe them down with a damp cloth. Storage is simple, as it doesn't take up much room in a drawer.
