Now You See; Now You Don't

Before receiving the Pink Heart Blindfold, my partner and I used a bandana for our blindfolding joy. While this might seem like a lower-cost alternative, I was really excited for the upgrade, and here's why: Although we never had trouble with this, my partner occasionally uses bandanas as handkerchiefs, especially when he has a bad cold. The sheer thought of my partner--however attractive he might be most of the time--getting his germs anywhere near either of our eyes was quite enough, thank you, for me to request a real blindfold.

This blindfold is sturdy and made out of leather, faux fur, and an elastic cord that lets the blindfold fit both my head and my partner's much larger cranium. And do not fear--the elastic does not snag hairs and pull on your delicate locks, although I did have some trouble with it sliding upwards because of my longish hair shifting up while, well, you know.

I enjoyed this blindfold because, while wearing it, I was blind. And isn't that exactly what you're looking for in a blindfold? It even covers the cheekbone area that our not-snot-filled bandannas could never seem to reach. I would not suggest opening your eyes while wearing the blindfold (why bother?), but I didn't have any fuzzy-related problems during my experiences.

So why a Pink Heart Blindfold, instead of one of the many black options available? Well, I personally enjoy items that look pretty and non-threatening for my playtime, and what could be less threatening? This might be a way to introduce blindfolds into a relationship if you are intimidated by more serious-looking toys. By pressing against a surface with the cord of the blindfold you can eventually ease the toy off of your head; this fact might make it less scary for someone who is interested in trying this but worries about claustrophobia.

Additionally, if you wanted to be silly, you could try using this to look like a sleep mask. I would not recommend actually using it because the fuzzy bits would probably make your face quite sweaty, but it could easily become part of a sexy pajama outfit, if you wanted to have a pajama party with your partner.
Experience
My partner and I used this blindfold with our Pink Plush Wrist and Ankle Cuffs. It was incredibly fun for each of us to completely surprise the other--a lick here, a nibble there, an utterly unfair and unstoppable tickle somewhere else... Although the blindfold is certainly fun on its own, for me it enhances the experience to know that I can't just easily take it off. After all, where's the fun in that?

So did it get hot while wearing during sex? Is the elastic sturdy, or does it seem like it might stretch out easily with more use? Thanks for the review.

It didn't get hot (though I was definitely focusing on something else), and so far the elastic is holding up well. I'm enjoying it!
