Plushy gear ankle cuffs - sex toy by Cal Exotics - review by Escheresque

Let me start off by saying that my husband and I got both the plushy wrist and ankle cuffs and we really enjoyed them.

These cuffs are a good use for light play or heavy bondage. The plush material is comfortable and does not chafe even when used against the hairiness of a male leg. At first I was concerned that these light-weight cuffs would not be up for a real fight, but the stitching and outer nylon Velcro is well-made and was able to restrain my husband, a 6'2" 250 pound well-muscled man, when the D ring was put to the test.

The cuffs have two rings; one which attaches to a clip the other is simply a D ring and is the stronger of the two. We used a heavy-duty nylon rope fed under the mattress of our standard queen size bed to secure the cuffs, tying the rope to the D ring.

Now, I'm sure that the clip would stand up to my efforts (I haven't had the pleasure yet); but even though it appears sturdy, I saw a little give when my husband strained against them.

These cuffs are completely adjustable and are for him or her. Just make sure you don't strap them too tightly as this can lead to circulation issues.

The Velcro makes for an easy-on, easy off, which is great for beginners but is handy for us veterans as well.

I want to say the look of the cuffs is ideal. It's comfortable without being pink and fluffy. This set can be used for a playful night or a hardier romp.

The plush material is hand-washable (which isn't on the box) and doesn't shrink when washed in cold water and laid flat to dry. This feature appeals to me since it means that no matter how much you use them you won't have to worry about lingering sweat odor.
