If you are new to BDSM: you will love these. If you are more advanced: you will love these. In short, they are great for anyone, and I would certainly recommend them for beginners or couples looking into trying out some BDSM play. This product is sure to work for everyone, and you can have all sorts of kinky fun with them. If you add a blindfold, you can have some really great sensory play. I suppose these could be used alone, though I think they are more for two (or more) people to play. These are a fun way to try out light restraint, and there are probably a ton of ways to get creative with these cuffs.

They don't take up much space so you could easily slip them into a purse, backpack, or suitcase without taking up much room.

These are very, very well-made cuffs. They are so sturdy and they hold up so well. For being Velcro, they work a lot better than you might think. I was skeptical about them at first, but then I got then and was so pleased with them. I really like being able to have nice, sturdy cuffs that aren't leather. I can see these lasting a lifetime, so they are certainly worth it. Already, they have lasted months with absolutely no signs of wear at all.

In terms of sizing, I tried them on my own very small wrists and they fit me comfortably. My partner, who is much larger than myself, tried them on and they fit his wrists comfortably with plenty of room to spare. In fact, they even fit on my ankles comfortably! Plus, would fit on ankles plenty larger than mine. So these can double as ankle cuffs. They would fit on the wrists (and probably ankles) pretty much anyone at all. They fit over my biceps as well, so if you wanted to work that into your bondage then you could.

They have a light, sort of rubbery smell when you first get them, but it's nothing irritating or bothersome and it goes away quickly.

The Sportcuffs are SO comfortable to use! No chafing, no pinching. They are a joy to wear. They aren't stiff, cold, or uncomfortable like metal cuffs are (though I know that is a con for some).

One thing I really like is that you can pull as much as you want, but no amount of pulling will make the Velcro come undone. I got them in hopes that they would not be escapable. I had heard good things, though I still wasn't sure since they were Velcro so I figured they could be pulled off fairly easily. I had used rope to bind my partner's wrist, and he managed to escape it every time. No matter how I tied it or what I had done, he would get out. Everything I tried, he would smugly escape, just to prove he could. It became frustrating for me. I got these, and when he saw that they were Velcro he laughed. "Velcro? Oh, this won't be hard at all." Later when I was playing with him and I had him cuffed, I noticed that he was trying to pull his arms in opposite directions to make them come off. I watched and waited, finding humor it. He looked surprised and annoyed that he had been outdone finally. Mind you, he is taller than me, very fit, and physically the strongest person that I have ever known. He pulled and struggled to no avail. The cuffs stayed put! I'd finally found some good cuffs! Him pulling them proved to me hands down, if he couldn't yank and pull and stretch his way out of them, no one could. These cuffs do not disappoint!

However, if they can get their fingers to reach the clip that holds the cuffs together and unclip it, then they will be able to escape. So there is that chance or potential for your bound partner getting the cuffs off, but I'm sure you could find ways around that.

Very easy to store and easy to clean. Since they are neoprene and Velcro, they can just be wiped down with water. Though they are made of a fabric material, I'm not so sure I would put them in a washing machine.

Hand washing, or just dabbing with a cloth works fine. Air drying is best.
