Black magic vibrating strap-on by Pipedream - review by Research

I'm a fan of strap-ons in general and after seeing some of the hit-or-miss products for couples that Pipedream has released recently, I was particularly interested in this toy. I've researched many different strap-ons and tried a fair few as well. The lack of available information on this toy was a little concerning but the toy spoke for itself just fine.

Fresh out of the box I was surprised at how little odor there was considering this is a Rubber toy. Upon closer examination I realized this was because the rubber dildo part of this strap-on was shrink-wrapped in plastic not unlike those long spiral lolly-pops you see at the fair. The straps were medium thickness elastic and seemed secure, though the vinyl material of the strap-on body was cheap and uncomfortable looking.

I ran my finger along the edge of the vinyl sections and found it rough and a bit sharp. While most of the load bearing is done by the elastic sections, it is entirely possible to shift in such a way that the vinyl presses into your skin painfully. The rubber dildo itself is a wicked looking affair. It has rings of large nubs around its circumference in a few spots and it tapers down to a tip so sharp you could probably use it to kill a bear.

The dildo is 7.5 inches long with slightly less than that insertable due to the wide base that doubles as a suction cup. The dildo was surprisingly thick, I wouldn't recommend beginners attempt this toy even though the price is right. The harness itself is extremely adjustable due to all the elastic. Pulling it to its stops and whipping out my measuring tape, I'd say it is comfortable up to dress size 10, and tight but still wearable up to size 14 or so.

The dildo functions as one would expect, though the large nubs on the shaft make for slow going till you get used to them. The special feature of this particular strap-on is the vibrator inside the dildo. A thin wire runs out the base of the dildo (which makes setting it in the ring harness a real pain) and connects to a small remote. The remote houses the 2 AAA batteries and controls the varying levels of vibration power. The battery housing has a sealed O-ring so the whole assembly is waterproof, though the elastic soaks up so much water that I recommend against getting this one wet.

The rubber dildo is porous so make sure you clean it real well or use a condom between people. The vinyl material wipes down without any trouble but if you get the elastic dirty, get ready for some serious scrubbing. The elastic soaks up fluids like a lush on Bastille Day.

Like most Pipedream products, this one arrived in a medium sized white cardboard box with a picture of the product on the front. In this case, the strap-on was being modeled by a tall blonde staring at the viewer like they owe her something. The words "FETISH Fantasy Series" are printed large and red behind her head and a small round photo of a heavily made-up woman wearing a tilted airplane sleep mask proclaims "FREE MASK INSIDE". The side panels show the blonde again wearing shoes exclusively designed to cause ankle fractures, while the rear panel shows a closeup of the strap-on itself.

This rear panel is quite well done, large detailed photos show the texture of the dildo and the button controls of the remote. The photo gives an excellent sense of scale on the dildo nubs and the suction cup bottom. The blonde is here again but she is banished to the lower part of the panel with her friend, the disembodied head with a FREE MASK.
