Tex VixSkin - realistic dildo discontinued by Vixen Creations, Inc - review by Falsepast

Packaging: As with many other products in the VixSkin line, Tex comes in his own cylindrical plastic tube. The tube measure just over 8 inches tall and 11 inches in circumference. The top and bottom feature black lids to help hold Tex in the clear tube. The front has a sticker featuring the VixSkin logo and their motto "Worth Every Inch", while the back contains another sticker including an introdution to VixSkin toys.
Below the Vixen Creations logo, the sticker reads: "We are thrilled to annouce our new line of realistic feeling, skin-like toys. Our new line, VixSkin, is an exclusive formula, unlike any other available on the market. Once you feel VixSkin for yourself, you will see that it is truly 'worth every inch'."
This is followed by a series of bullets, stating different facts of the VixSkin toys such as "Looks and feels like authentic skin! Made of the safest 100% premium silicone". At the very bottom, there is also an email address, website, and phone and fax number listed. To open the container, the top black lid must be removed (a somewhat difficult task for those who bite their fingernails) and then replaced when the toy is put back in for storage. The container is perfect for storage as it is safe, and will keep the toy clean until your next use of it.

Look: Tex is a 6-inch tall realistic dildo with a suction cup base. His 5 insertable inches have a range of 5 to 5 1/2 inches in circumference, making him the equivalent of the average penis (according to some studies). He does not look exceptionally big or intimidating in any way, allowing beginners and experienced dildo users alike to feel at ease. Tex is a very realistic dildo, meaning no ridiculously bulging veins or unrealistic 180 degree curves, no. Instead Tex has his own wrinkles, moderately-sized head and his very own retracted foreskin (at least that's what it looks like). His suction cup base doesn't look like it could be used as a suction cup at all, due to how shallow it appears, but alas it works. All in all, Tex is a very realistic dildo both in looks and in feel.

Feel: Tex has a very realistic feel to him, as he is a dual density dildo. The outside is very soft, smooth and squishy while inside, there is a hard and firm inner core. The outside makes Tex feel squishy and gentle, while the inner core makes him feel firm, stand up and properly funcion as a dildo. Aside from the squishy feel, Tex's wrinkles and a simulated foreskin help make him feel very realistic as well. Although they cannot be felt during internal use very much, you can feel them as you run your hand across him. His shaft is squishy but still has a firm feeling to it due to his inner core. Even his head is squishy, squishier than the shaft, not drastically so...but enough to mention there is a difference in the feeling.
Tex's base can be used as a suction cup if pressed up against flat surfaces. One of the most surprising things was that, although the suction cup appeared shallow, it still worked quite well on flat, dry surfaces and had superb grip when placed on a flat, wet surface.

Smell/Taste/Sound: Tex doesn't come with any bad odors at all or bad tastes. Throughout use, the only time Tex really made a sound was in use, but this was primarily due to the lube.

Material/Lube/Cleaning: Tex is made of VixSkin, a material that earns a 10/10 on the safety scale. Although VixSkin feels realistic, like Cyberskin (or even moreso than that), it has the safety qualities of silicone. It is a smooth, nonporous material that also does a good job of retaining heat. Although it is not entirely flwaless as the only acceptable lube to use with it is water-based lube. Any other will damage and destroy the material and toy. To clean it, you simply have to wash it with water and soap or, to entirely sterilize it, you can leave it in boiling water for 3 minutes.

Internally: Tex is very gentle upon insertion, his squishy head and moderately-sized shaft making sure it is not painful at all (just be sure to warm up beforehand). Internally, Tex doesn't feel like much, as he is a little on the short side, but he is still a great toy. Going slow with Tex provides an ok feeling and is great accustoming your body to it's new friend, but in terms of pleasure, it will not get much accomplished. Thrusting is the key with Tex. Thrusting Tex in didn't cause any pain as his squishy head did a great job of cushioning his hits, but it did give a good amount of pleasure to my P-spot. Although, he doesn't exactly hammer away at your P-spot, instead it feel as though Tex sort of "teases" it. Providing just the right amount of pleasure to make tease you without getting irritating. Obviously Tex won't send waves of pleasure crashing through you as the bigger toys do, but he does have his own benefits. He leaves you wanting more...not in a dissatisfied sort of way, but in a sort of way that can be interpreted as him preparing you for the main course. This makes him very good for "foreplay" in my opinion. My only real complaint about Tex while in use is that he can easily slip out if you don't constantly keep him as deep as he can go inside of you.

Although it should also be noted that this review was written by someone who has experienced toys ranging in girth up to 7 inches in circumference and around 8 inches in length. When it comes to beginners that have just started anal, Tex may be too much, too small or just right. It is my personal opinion and thought that Tex may be just right for the beginner to anal who wants a realistic dildo but nothing absurdly small or large.
