Dildo harness - dual strap style review

I've never had a good encounter with a strap-on harness. That is, until I tried out a Double Strap Harness by Spartacus. Made entirely of leather, it fit securely and remained tight. The only killjoy was that the D rings (used to adjust the harness) weren't closed, therefore bending after an extended period of usage. This is frustrating, I'm not going to lie, but it could be easily remedied. My partner and I just rigged the harness to stay on, and trust me, it wasn't going anywhere after we were done with it. We managed to wrap the strap through the ring another time and then tied it up behind the other strap (the one against her body). Pins could have also been used to insure the strap stayed securely fastened. Once that ordeal was over with, everything else about the harness was pretty much straightforward and outstanding.

The positioning was excellent. My partner was able to position it higher on her pubic bone so it would line up with the vagina being penetrated fairly easy, even without using hands to steer it in. We gave it a test drive with the Vibrating Champlette dildo by Vixen Creations. The back snaps had to be removed since the base of the Champlette was pretty large, but this didn't cause any problems since the dildo was held securely within the "O" the entire time we used it.

Another positive: considering I've never used a double strap harness before, it wasn't really that hard to figure out how to put it on. Even in the heat of the moment, I adjusted it on my partner with ease. Well, I actually put it on inside-out at first, but she quickly realized my error. It turned out to be as attractive as it is functional. If you have a "thing" for leather at all, this harness is sure to please you. Though I have been continuously disappointed by harnesses in the past, I was not completely discouraged. Trying out this harness has completely changed my mind on the matter. Even though it didn't work perfectly without some creative efforts (fixing the D rings), it was an amazing harness and excelled in every other area. It has great maneuverability and stability. I'd highly recommend it to both harness aficionados and even wary beginners.
