The one - g-spot dildo discontinued by Doc Johnson - review by unfulfilled

The One by Doc Johnson is a pretty versatile dildo. It is primarily designed for reaching a woman's g-spot however it is also o-ring compatible so it can be used with a harness for pegging as well. If you do not have a harness don't worry, The One has a flared base making it perfectly safe for anal insertion.

You can thrust with this with or without a partner easily.

The wonderful thing about non-vibrating dildos is they do not require batteries so you can take this into any water setting that you wish.

I find this best suited for those who prefer larger toys. I don't consider this suitable for beginners or those who prefer slimmer toys due to the ridges on this toy.

The One is made out of platinum grade silicone which rates a ten on the safety scale. Silicone is a wonderful material that warms up quickly to your body temperature and retains heat quite nicely. It is also considered to be a food grade material that is hypoallergenic, non-porous, latex free, and phthalate free.

The silicone is soft and smooth to the touch yet firm and semi-flexible. It is not overly floppy and only offers a little bit of maneuverability, but not much.



There is a lot of drag to this so I highly recommend using lubricant with this. Without lubricant, either natural or otherwise, you may find it hard to get past the ridges of the dildo for full insertion. However with lubricant things should be fine.

There's really not any texture to this at all. It offers ridges down the shaft that are slightly pronounced and when inserted I can tell that there's a size change, but other than that there is nothing to it.

I find the texture best suited for advanced users who prefer smooth firm toys that aren't hard with minimal texture. Again the ridges are not pronounced enough to give those who love texture something to drool over.

There is a slight odor when opening it out of the package, but I attribute that to the plastic packaging and not the toy itself. After taken out of the package, I cannot distinguish any odor.

The One comes in two colors purple and mint green. I have the mint green and I find it to be a beautiful color. It has ridges along the shaft of varying sizes and a very slight curve to it designed for g-spotting. It also has a round base with Doc Johnson stamped into it. I find the base to be perfect handle when used for thrusting and to help me apply some pressure to my g-spot.



The base of The One is 8 1/8" around. From tip to base, The One measures 6" long with an insert able length of 5 1/2". If you measure along the toy it is considered to be 7 1/2" long with an insert able length of 7". The middle of the head measures 4 3/4" around. Directly underneath the head is a smaller flat section that measures 4 1/8" around. The second ridge measures 4 3/4" around. Right above the base measures 4 1/4" around.

I find this best suited for those who prefer larger toys. Those who prefer slimmer toys should look elsewhere.

Although it isn't phallic shaped, The One wouldn't be considered discreet in my opinion. Anyone that is familiar with sex toys can determine what its purpose is just by looking at it. If it is important to you to be discreet, I suggest storing this out of sight.

It is small enough to fit inside a medium sized purse, bag, or suitcase if you plan on traveling with it.

This is my first non-vibrating dildo and I admit it performed beyond my expectations. I love how I could use the base to apply pressure while inserted. It honestly had me breathing quite heavily for the entire length of my session. I used it alone, but you could use it with a partner thrusting it inside and outside of you.
While thrusting, I did not have any issues with it slipping from my lubricant covered hands.

This can be used with an o-ring and harness for pegging, but my husband and I do not have any experience with pegging so I cannot tell you how it performs for this purpose. You can also use this anally without a harness so if you are one that enjoys anal play The One could be the one for you.

Silicone is a wonderful material to care for because you can choose a variety of options to clean it. You can use soap and water, your favorite toy cleaner, or wipe it down with a toy wipe. You can also sterilize it by placing it in a pot of boiling water for about 3-5 minutes or in a dishwasher on the top rack. It does collect dirt, debris, and hair so I suggest cleaning it with any of the above methods before and after each use.

Water based lubricants are preferred when using with a silicone toy because silicone lubricants can degrade the toy if used. If you have to use silicone based lubricants I suggest spot testing first.

You can store it in a cool dry place that doesn't have a lot of debris preferably away from other silicone toys.
