Will this be the One?

The One by Doc Johnson is a premium silicone dildo designed for g-spotting. It has a ribbed texture that wraps around the shaft. It is firm, yet remains flexible for bending and hitting that special sweet spot as well as comfortable thrusting. The round, flared shaft makes it great for anal use and also makes it O-ring compatible.

The One is great for solo pleasure or to use with a partner, either letting them control the motion or putting it into a harness for hands free play.

The One is made of premium silicone which rates at 10 on Eden's safety scale. This dildo is also hypoallergenic, non-porous, and latex and phthalates free. There is no odor to this dildo.

The silicone is smooth to the touch with a lot of drag. I recommend using lubricant for a more comfortable insertion of this particular toy. It is firm, yet very flexible without being floppy and hard to hold and insert. This dildo will stand up on its own. The package insert states that it is a "life-like" feel; however, I have to disagree with that. The feel of this silicone is nothing like the feel of a real penis.

The shaft is wrapped with two ridges down the the shaft, just slightly pronounced. The wrap of the texture reminds me of that of a candy cane. The texture isn't pronounced enough to be felt extremely well, but it can be felt when inserted past the head and the first wrap of texture. It isn't too noticeable when thrusting unless you pull it out enough before pushing back in.

Both the texture and material should be fine for most users.

The one is a versatile dildo. First, it is designed to be a g-spotting dildo for women. The shaft is straight, then goes into a slight curve to help hit the beloved g-spot, in which it does a pretty good job. This dildo has a rounded, flared base so it can also be used for anal play. The round base also makes it O-ring compatible and perfect for your harness.

I took a shoe string and ruler to measure the flat part and the raised ribbed part. The raised parts had about a 5 1/2" circumference, while the flat part had about a 4 3/4" circumference. Once you get past the head you should be fine.

Due to the difference in the raised ribbed texture this one might not be the best choice for a beginner, but should be fine for other users.

The One doesn't look realistic but it is pretty easy to figure out what its purpose is. This isn't a dildo you can tote around in your purse but it will do fine in a suitcase or overnight bag.

As mentioned earlier, this dildo can be used in various ways. You can use it alone or with a partner, letting them control the thrusting motion. You can get decent g-spot stimulation with the One, and it is also great for just thrusting. Use it along with a clitoral vibrator to enhance the experience. The flared base makes this anal friendly, so for those that like to take their toys either way, no need to hesitate. The flexibility will also help with comfortable anal if you can handle the girth.

This dildo is a hair, lint, and other fibers magnet, so you will want to store it in a place that will protect it from attracting these things. The plastic packaging can be used for storage, or you can use a toy pouch like I chose to do.

When I first got this assignment I wasn't so sure about it: it looked a little intimidating, but once it arrived and I got it out, the size and girth wasn't so scary after all.

The texture looked interesting and I was anxious to try it out, but found that once you get past the head it really isn't that noticeable at all. I was able to feel it hit my g-spot, and the rounded tip made it comfortable.

I'm not one to choose toys with this girth and was worried I wouldn't be able to use, but with some lube, relaxing, and my partner, I was able to use it. I do suggest using more lubricant and really being relaxed if you are like me. If you tense up it can give a crampy feeling.

Obviously, I got the purple dildo, but it actually is a different color than what is shown on the product page. The color is actually more of a magenta color.
