Minx - double strap harness by ASLAN Leather - review by Dangerous Lilly

My first experience with Aslan leather harnesses was at a conference where they were a vendor. If you ever see these in person, resistance will be futile. The leather is just SO SOFT it begs to be stroked and fondled. And sniffed. If you like the smell of leather, that is. Which I do.

Many of the fabric harnesses use plastic adjustment buckles and nylon webbing. For me, those elements are not comfortable on a plus-size body where there is a lot of flesh to cut into. The only aspect of the Aslan harnesses that is hard is the metal buckles on the side, but the edges are all rounded and really are quite comfortable. The leather that Aslan uses is called garment leather and it is just the softest, most pliable thing. But with proper cleaning care, it'll also last you a very long time. The only downside to leather is that you can't toss it in the washing machine. I'd recommend that those who are fluid-bonded and certain that they like harnesses be the target market for this.

This will fit you differently depending on how you like to wear a harness and the general shape of your body. If you carry your weight in your hips but not really your belly, then you'll have various ways to wear it. If you have a large belly overhang, then you'll want to adjust the harness so that the dildo base will rest right on your pubic mound and go under your lower belly. The plus side to the super soft leather is that wearing it the latter way is completely comfortable.

The Minx version adds a corset backing to give a more femme styling but also extend the waistline for plus size people. It looks beautiful to wear and is still very comfortable. It's more comfortable than the harnesses that have buckles in the back. There are D-rings in places to adjust the straps, these are also still comfortable. This styling, with the leg straps, is meant to run from under the crotch, up and out to the sides of the ass cheeks, framing the ass. Between the straps and the corset, your ass will look great in this.

The only thing I didn't like as well is that there are only 3 straps to hold the rubber o-ring on. Heavier dildos will do better with a 4-strap design to secure them. Mine also only came with 1 rubber o-ring size but I was able to put in a slightly smaller one with some success. You have the option of positioning the base/balls behind the leather front, bringing the dildo through the leather O opening, or placing the dildo in front of the leather front, using the rubber o-ring to secure it.

I feel that adjusting the leather leg straps is easier than adjusting nylon webbing leg straps.

Despite being a size 20 with a large lower belly, due to me positioning the front pad under my belly, I didn't need the excess waist straps and corset. I like how it looks, though. I would say that this can fit people who range from a US size...6? on up to maybe even US28. It just depends on how you'll wear it.

I received mine from the manufacturer. Therefore, mine has a feature that I'm not sure is available on this on. There is a rectangular section that threads onto the leg straps. It has a slit, and moves around. It is meant to hold a dildo in place for the wearer, and I believe can work for either vaginal or anal. If the version available here doesn't come with this, you can buy it separately I believe, directly from Aslan. It really adds a lot to the functionality for the wearer and is worth it.
