Unicorn horn - strap-on dildo discontinued by Whipspider rubberworks - review by Kayla

The Unicorn Horn dildo is an amazingly unique dildo made by Whipspider Rubberworks. Contrary to the name, this dildo is actually made from silicone, and it is completely body-safe. The dildo is about seven inches long, and at the base has a diameter of about an inch and a half. My dildo leans slightly to one side, but it's only from sitting in that position for awhile. The picture on the EdenFantasys product page is accurate, but it doesn't do the white, pearl-color any justice; it's gorgeous in person. The real-size widget is accurate.

The Unicorn Horn doesn't coming in too much of specialized packaging, but it does protect the dildo. It comes in a little resealable plastic baggie. Along with the dildo, the packaging also comes with a little cardboard card that lets you know about Whipspider Rubberworks. It states that this is high-quality silicone, has unique designs, and is hand-made with love in Maine. This cardboard card also includes cleaning information. This resealable bag works quite well for long-term storage of the dildo.

The neat thing abot the Unicorn Horn is the design and how interesting it is. The Unicorn Horn has little ridges that actually run through the body of the dildo, so it actually does feel like a unicorn horn. Along witht hat, the ridges go in about 1/8 of an inch, so these ridges can definitely be felt during use as well, so if you have a fantasy about having sex with a unicorn, it works well. Aside from the ridges throughout the shaft of the dildo, this dldo does not have any other texture. It is completely smooth. However, the silicone is pretty matte in texture, so it does provide quite a bit of resistance, so I highly recommend using lots of lubricant during use. Along with that, having lubricant to help with the ridges makes everything more pleasurable, so I recommend lubricant during your use.

The Unicorn dildo is definitely flexible. Each one of the ridges makes it even more flexible. This is bad if you were hoping to hit any certain spot with pressure, but for the sake of just using it for regular thrusting, it makes the dildo more comfortable. The dildo is really able to contour to your curves, and it works pretty well. As you could guess, because it's straight, it doesn't provide any g-spot stimulation, but it is interestingly wide, so it does feel pretty filling as you use it. It's not as filling as some of the larger toys out there, but it's a bit larger in diameter than some dildos.

Most people will probably buy this for the gag factor though. After all, how often do you get to have a body-safe dildo that is actually in the shape of a unicorn horn? That's right; never! The unicorn detailing is actually done really nicely. As stated before, there are ridges that run the body of the dildo, and those really add to the realism. Not only that, but the silicone is not all one color; it is multiple colors throughout the body of the dildo. It's not just white; the dildo is much more of a pearl color, and it changes in different shades throughout the body of the dildo. Along with that, there are darker and lighter spots.

The base of the dildo is nice too. They made a bit of a Celtic design along the base with little chain-looking things hooked together. It runs around the entire base, and if you have the dildo completely in, it adds a bit of interesting texture to your experience. The base itself is pretty thick, and it easily holds the Unicorn dildo upright. It is enough of a base to make this Unicorn horn anal-safe (which actually sounds pretty kinky and fun; we've only used it vaginally). On the bottom of the base, you can see the marbled, dark black color that they used for the base. It, again, has a bit of the pearl-like sheen to it, and it looks gorgeous. On the base, Whipspider also placed their logo. There is no hole for a bullet or anything, but a vibrator can easily be held against the silicone if you desire vibrations.

The instructions include how to clean this sex toy. To clean it, wash it with soap and water, or it can also be boiled for three minutes. It can also be washed in the top-shelf of the dishwasher. It's an average-sized toy, so it can be used with regular condoms for protection. It is only compatible with water-based lubricants, and it can easily be cut by sharp objects. It doesn't pick up too much of lint and fuzzies, so it can be kept out in the open, but I recommend keeping it in its original storage bag.

While I'm not overly impressed by the sensations of using it (aside from the large filling sensation it provides), I do enjoy the fact that it exists. This isn't a dildo that I assumed was made to be the most orgasmic-dildo ever, but instead, it was meant to look like a Unicorn horn. In that aspect, the quality and the coloring of this dildo is unbeatable! It was meant to be more of a niche-type of dildo, and in that respects, it definitely succeeds.
