The Lovemoiselle Noemie is a truly gorgeous ceramic dildo of outstanding quality. It's one of those unique and rare toys that attracts you not for all its fancy features, but for its beautiful simplicity. From the moment you see it through the window of its sexy black box, to the instant you feel its unique sensations claiming your body, it is a joy to behold. The Noemie is intended for vaginal penetration, and I wouldn't suggest using it any other way. Why bother? It was made for one purpose, and at this purpose it succeeds: to be an amazing dildo. It feels so wrong even calling it a dildo.. it seems like so much more than a sex toy. It's like a work of art. Her lovely curves will stroke against your g-spot with each effortless, exquisite thrust. She is also a lovely instrument for sensation play, easily heating up or cooling down to be used in the traditional sense, or for tracing all over your body. While she could work well for anal play, she lacks a flared base, and as such you would risk losing her in your ass. That, my friends, is a risk you do NOT want to take.

Noemie is, as I mentioned, made of ceramic. Ceramic is non-porous, hypo-allergenic, and completely free of both phthalates & latex. It is a very body safe material that can be easily cleaned with soap and warm water, or sterilized using a 10% bleach solution. Noemie is so smooth to touch that you may not even need lubricant with this toy. If you do choose to use a lubricant, ceramic is safe to use with either silicone or water based, but Lovemoiselle suggests only water based for their particular toys. To be honest, I completely skipped this little fact and used a lube that was a water-silicone mix. It doesn't seem to have harmed it any, but I'll be using solely water based from here on out.

So, how is ceramic different from other materials? I admit, I too wondered this when I first laid eyes upon this toy. Ceramic is very smooth, similar to glass. It would be a wonderful texture for beginners. However, unlike glass, it has a bit of a drag and a more substantial, durable feel to it. I've banged this toy up against the sink or the nightstand a few times and it hasn't cracked or chipped. Though I'm not suggesting you go out of your way to beat it up. It is still a fragile material, and wouldn't take much to break. Be sure to inspect your Noemie before and after each use for cracks, chips, etc. If it is damaged in any way, do NOT use it. Ceramic retains heat, similar to glass, but seems to hold its temperature better. To utilize this toy in temperature play, merely run it under warm water to heat, or toss in the refrigerator for a few minutes to cool. Do NOT microwave or freeze this toy, as extreme temperature changes may cause it to break.

At 8 1'2" long, 7" insertable, and with a diameter of 1 1/2", she's a fairly average toy. Perfectly balanced between the scales of large and small, but perhaps too girthy or firm for a beginner. Noemie weighs 0.4 lbs, so while she's solid, she's also very light. The reason for this is that this toy is completely hollow on the inside. A small silicone plug on the bottom of this toy seals it closed, and protects the inside from water, dust, etc. Noemie is a glossy white in color, with a delicate purple floral design spanning up its shaft. It is very inconspicuous, and could even be mistaken for a piece of art or a new age paperweight by the unsuspecting, or those uneducated in pleasure objects. Her body is curvaceous, starting off with a large, slowly tapering curve which accommodates half the toy. Below this first, long, lovely hump is a smaller curve, and then a bulbed end for easy gripping. It is a very ergonomically designed toy which fits flawlessly in the hand or body.

When I first received my Noemie, she came carefully packaged in a chic black box with a silver floral design, and a window for viewing your lovely new toy. A black paper band embossed with the product name wraps around the center of the box. Noemie rests in a sturdy foam insert which protects it from jostling around and becoming damaged. It takes a good amount of effort to remove her from where she's nestled. Underneath the foam insert is an instructional booklet containing materials, care, and product information, and a velvet drawstring bag. I suggest storing your Noemie in this thoughtfully provided bag for travel, or when not in use.

A pleasurable burn greeted me as her narrow tip widened and tapered down to a soft curve. For a moment, Noemie felt so perfect, so right being inside of me, I was almost tempted to believe she had been crafted to fit me specifically. With each thrust she stroked gently, gracefully against my g-spot. Flowing with such ease, comparable to a paintbrush on a canvas. But it wasn't a canvas she was painting with ecstasy, it was my body.

Needless to say, all of my experiences with this toy have been exquisite! This is currently my favorite dildo (I still hate calling her that), and the toy I most often reach for on a daily basis.
