Firm and Fabulous
The intensity of sensation provided by the Dai-Do #3 is an experience not to be missed by toy enthusiasts who like large, firm toys and a slow but firm stroking against the g-spot.Published: January 7, 2011
Pros:
One of the largest, firmest, most intense dildos on EF. Beautiful and body safe.
Cons:
Definitely too big for many users. Check the specifications carefully.

Use
The Dai-Do #3 from Big Teaze Toys is the ultimate in thick, firm dildos. It makes for an intense solo experience, although it does call for a bit of caution due to the size and the firmness of the metal. Slow thrusting feels incredible with this toy, as even the slightest motion is amplified by the pronounced, yet perfectly smooth, ridges.
Since metal holds temperature even better than glass, the Dai-Do excels at temperature play.
Personally, I cannot imagine even attempting anal use with a toy of this size, but since it lacks a flared base, I would strongly caution against it.

Material / Texture
Unless your fantasy lover is Optimus Prime, the Dai-Do #3 isn't even remotely realistic. However, those with a fetish for giant robots have found the toy of their dreams. This toy is a solid piece of metal that resembles a weapon more than a sex toy.
The ice cold stainless steel and aluminum holds its temperature for much longer than glass, so if you're up for a thrilling chill, you're good to go, while those seeking a warmer experience should warm this one up with either warm water or body heat before letting it near more sensitive regions.
The firmness of the material and intensity of the texture make this a toy best suited to experienced users. Those new to toys -- regardless of other sexual experience -- should really try something else first.
While the metal is extremely slippery with only a small amount of lubricant, the toy does thoughtfully include a strip of silicone that's somewhat easier to grip.
As for taste and smell, the Dai-Do #3 is odorless, and tastes vaguely like an aluminum soda can.
All of the materials in the Dai-Do #3 are phthalates free and body friendly.

Design / Shape / Size
The Dai-Do #3 is a big toy. With a diameter of an inch and three-quarters, it is one of the largest toys on Eden, and the metal has no give to it. It's not a toy for a beginner, or for a quickie. Even experienced users will want to warm up before giving this one a go.
Since the Dai-Do #3 looks more like a weapon than a sex toy, it's extremely discreet. However, I doubt you'll get through airport security with it in your carry on luggage. It's also on the heavy side. Either ship it to your destination before embarking upon your adventure, or leave it home.

Performance
The Dai-Do #3 packs a punch. It requires a fair bit of warm up before use, and once in play, every slight motion creates intense sensation. The ridges press firmly into the g-spot, and I found a very slow thrusting motion to be most effective.
While the toy lacks a g-spot curve of any kind, the size makes up for it. Those users who prefer an extreme hook for g-spot stimulation might not love this one, but I found it to work extremely well.

Care and Maintenance
Aluminum should not be bleached, and while the toy can in theory survive boiling, it's not recommended, as the heat can discolor the finish. Hot, soapy water -- or toy cleaner -- is the best option for everyday cleaning. When my Dai-Do first arrived, I gave it a very quick wipe with a solution of rubbing alcohol before washing it thoroughly in hot, soapy water, and it showed no ill effects, but alcohol is not on the recommended list for this material.
As for storage, the Dai-Do #3 comes with a nice little satin separator bag, and any special storage precautions pertain more to the safety of your other toys than to the health of the Dai-Do itself. As long as your glass toys are adequately padded, the Dai-Do is easy to store.
The main body of the Dai-Do #3 is compatible with any kind of lube you'd wish to use, although personally I'd avoid silicone lube, since the grip is made of silicone. Since the toy is pretty slick, a few drops of water or oil based lubricant should be more than sufficient, even despite the size.

Packaging
The Dai-Do #3 arrived in an inoffensive cardboard box that recycled easily once sliced up and hidden among other cardboard. The enclosed satin separator bag is perfect for storage, and the presentation is definitely nice enough for gift-giving among intimates.

Thank you for viewing Dai-Do #3 – steel dildo review page!

It is DEFINITELY a big dildo. There are bigger out there, but they usually aren't made from stainless steel like this one. Good review. I have one of the smaller Dai-Dos, and I like it.
I have the smaller version and it is lovely too!
This one looks like a fun time! Great review
Mmmm, this might be my first metal toy I think!!!
Very nice.
Awesome review
@ Shellz31 -- Just remember, it's big. Really big. And heavy, don't forget heavy.
@ everyone -- thanks for the comments!
I have the smaller ridged Dai-Do and love it (though I don't use it as much as I should . . . which is something I need to change).
I wish I could actually hold this one and examine it in person before springing for it. I'm a bit intimidated by everyone's warnings regarding its size!
Great review on this! I loved your Optimus Prime reference.
