The Jollies Wave Dildo arrived enclosed within a small, white box, neatly bound by a rainbow ribbon; I perceived it to be a simple celebration of my sexual orientation, even if that was not its true purpose. The packaging was a bonus, as I was not expecting it to be so stylish. Most sex toys are monotonously packaged and leave little room for imagination. The ordinary gift box also provided a clever way of hiding the dildo from wandering eyes. I am certain that it will come in handy when dealing with parents and in-laws, as I have continuously found myself seeking new means of privacy for personal items.

After opening the box, I was initially surprised by the length of the Jollies wave dildo. I was unsure of whether this would be a good or bad quality, but was longing to find out. The alluring purple silicone was very pleasing to my senses of sight and touch. Bending it back and forth in my hands, I also became intrigued by how pliable the dildo was. The most notable aspect of the Wave dildo would have to be its incredible length. It was also ridged, which made gripping it a less arduous task.

I enjoy deep penetration, but was still somewhat fearful for my cervix when wielding this dildo for the very first time. Width-wise, this was much slimmer than most strap-on dildos. The girth wasn’t necessarily the most satisfying for vaginal insertion, but I suppose the easy maneuverability and pleasurable ridges made up for this flaw. Adding a slight curve to the shaft may have made this Jollies dildo more appealing to me, personally, as I am a huge fan of G-spot stimulation.

I found that this particular thickness was more enjoyable in another area. In fact, both my partner and I had been curious about anal play for quite some time but were always discouraged by anal sex toys that were simply too large. We were given the perfect opportunity for exploration with the Jollies wave. When a generous amount of lube was applied, it slid in and out comfortably and led to an overall delightful anal experience. I’d recommend this to anyone who prefers lengthy sex toys with a more petite width.
