Made Me Fall in Love With Glass

This is a great glass toy for beginners or more advanced users. It has a great shape that makes it easy to hold and easy to hit all the right places. The Violet Wonder makes a wonderful introduction into the world of easy to clean, easy to use glass toys.

Pros:

Use

This is a very nice glass dildo, with two different textured ends that can be used for insertion or as a handle. It shouldn't be used for anal use though, because neither end is large or flared enough to prevent it from sliding inside if you lose your grip. Because it is glass and it is very hard, care should be taken not to hurt a partner with hard thrusting, especially with the twisty end which is slightly pointed. The twisty end gives very nice vaginal sensations, especially when twisted, and the curve is great for g-spot stimulation. The end with the round balls gives a great feeling of fullness.
This is a great toy for masturbation and use with a partner, but remember to cover it or clean it if you want to share it with a partner.
Because it is glass, it can also be used for temperature play by putting it in warm or cold water. I love it cold, especially for external teasing. It will warm up to body temperature after a while, but the initial chill is great.

Material / Texture

This was my first glass toy, and it was love at first sight. The glass is smooth and a beautiful shade of light pinkish violet. I immediately loved the different feel of the hard smooth glass inside me. It feels so much different than more traditional materials because it has no give whatsoever, and with a little bit of lubricant, no friction. Plus, unless it is warmed up first on initial contact/insertion it is delightfully cool.
Because glass is nonporous, it is exceptionally easy to keep clean and sanitize. It can be wiped off with a soapy washcloth or a wipe after use for easy cleaning. It can also be bleached, boiled for a short time, or washed in the top rack of a dishwasher to sanitize it for sharing, or just to be sure you get it nice and clean.

Design / Shape / Size

The design of this toy is great. The two different textured ends make it like having two toys in one, and the slight curve (which isn't really apparent in the picture) makes both ends good for hitting my g-spot. Each end has a completely different feel, but I prefer the round balls for the feeling of fullness it gives. The diameter of this part is almost an inch and a half, which isn't astounding, but I think the series of balls makes it feel bigger. You can also get quite a bit of it inside of you using either end. I think the size is great for most users. Unless you're a size queen this will give you a nice full feeling but not stretch you more than you would want. It's also amazingly easy to hold on to, especially the end with the balls. The twisty end is a bit trickier to get ahold of, but that end makes twisting or turning it inside you easier, which feels amazing.

Performance

For me the best thing about this toy is the two different textures and its ability to hit my g-spot. It's easy to get the ball at the end to rub right against it, giving great orgasms. Actually this is the first toy I was able to use to get off with penetration alone. It's smooth to the touch and a little bit of lube makes it like silk.

Care and Maintenance

This toy is easy to care for. As I already described, it is easy to clean and sterilize. And don't worry too much about breaking it. Yes, it is glass, but it is also very hard and solid. You would have to drop it from a good height onto a hard surface to break it, but if it does take a fall be sure to inspect it for cracks. You wouldn't want to scratch yourself or have it break inside you if there was any damage. I keep mine in a velvety bag that it came with in my nightstand drawer to protect it from scuffs.
You can use any lube with this toy. I've always used water-based, but I'm sure a silicone lube would feel amazing with the smooth glass.

I think I could use it for anal if it slips in you just push it out, no? Not like it has a base that is impossible to push out. How supectible it would be to slipping in in your opinion?

Howells, apart from the slippage issue for anal, I wouldn't recommend it for anal for one other reason. The twisty end (opposite the balls that would minimize risk of the toy slipping in) is a bit pointy. I just don't think it would be very comfortable for anal use, and the combination of being such a hard material and having a small, twisty tip just seems like it could bring extra risk of doing some internal damage.

    • Not at all. I love glass! It's non-porous, easy to clean, and it can be sterilized. Plus it doesn't contain any harmful chemicals.

      You do have to use a little bit of care when thrusting, because it's a rigid toy, and if you're too overenthusiastic you could manage to bruise your cervix. If you're playing alone, that's pretty unlikely, because you'll be able to feel what you're doing, though, so it's more of a concern with partners.

      If you're concerned about glass breaking, remember that it's pyrex glass. If you drop it on a hard enough surface, it will break into chunks, not shards, if it breaks at all. It's nearly impossible to break while in use -- it's a solid piece of glass.

      You should always inspect glass toys before use, just to make sure it doesn't have a chip or a stress fracture, just in case, but if you store them with a reasonable amount of care, it's pretty unlikely that they'll get damaged.
