Is it just me or do the pictures for the outlaw make it seem like the caramel colored one is more tilted and larger than the vanilla?

I think there might be some variability in the angle. Vixen says to keep them upright so they don't lose their shape. I've heard from one person that they can bend out of shape if left on their side. I doubt the size is different though. They're all poured into the same mold.

Just purchased the Outlaw and noticed a hard plastic plate at the base. Is that plastic base supposed to be removed before boiling? Is it a plastic? or silicone base?
