The Leo dildo: my go-to guy
Published: May 22, 2009
useful review
If you only own one dildo... make it this one. It's a definite crowd-pleaser (and you can use it to please a crowd, since it's non-porous). But seriously, this dildo is an investment in your future. Don't you want your future to be full of great sex?
Pros:
Versatile size, high-quality, body safe, strap-on compatible.
Cons:
Absolutely nothing.
The Leo dildo was, I confess, my first dildo. And it set the bar very high.
Made from body-safe, non-porous, silicone, the Leo is easy to clean (soap and warm water will do) and can also be sterilized for sharing. It is also beautifully shaped with a sweet little curve, and a lovely detailed head. It is realistic, and but the non-skin tone color makes it more appealing. The size is ideal in my book: large enough for some delicious sensation, but not so big that it intimidates people. It's also the perfect size for cocksucking, and the smooth, sexy silicone is odorless and tasteless (unlike jelly rubber, ick!).
Rotating during manual use provides a range of sensations because of the slight curve in the shaft. The base is suction-y enough to stick to smooth, flat surfaces, and I've used it on horizontal surfaces with some success (so far, the edge of the bathtub was the best!). It is also strap-on ready, and is small enough to be compatible with most harnesses. And although I've never used it in this capacity, the Leo's flared base makes it anal safe.
I find that the Leo feels fantastic. The size is not so great that I feel stretched out, but it is big enough to get all of my little nerve endings twitching. The flared base hits my clit with deep penetration, providing that extra little something. It's long enough to hit my cervix, but not-so-wide that it leaves me sore. The combination of sculpted shape and jack-of-all-trades size, makes it ideal for extended sessions or quick hard fucks (long strokes or shallow, teasing thrusts, partner play or solo sex). Yes, I like the Leo... a lot.
The Leo is my old-standby dildo. It may not be as fancy as some others but it gets the job done, and it gets the job done right. The flared base is the perfect size for my hand, and the tough silicone material holds up well to a lot of thrusting. Beware of silicone lubricants, however, they will destroy your toy! It like dissolves them. Most condoms are lubricated with silicone lube. So when sharing be sure to use unlubricated condoms with water-based lube, or condoms lubricated with water-based lube (if you have an doubts about your condoms, check the brand website, they should have that info there).

Joque Spare Parts

FaileWill this work with the Joque Spare Parts harness? -
ScottAYep. As an O-Ring harness, Joque works with almost any flared-base dildo. The other thing to look at is the O-ring size and stretchability - the Joque's is fixed (so you can't put in a bigger or smaller), but copes with dildos between 1-1/2" and 2" in diameter (smaller dildos can be used, they'll just be a bit floppier).
Since Leo is 1-5/8" it's solidly in the Joque's ideal range.
Have fun! -
