The Wonderful Violet Wonder

Great toy over all and good for a beginner. It was also an amazing price for such a unique toy.

Pros:

Use

The Violet wonder glass dildo is amazing. It's especially great for someone that likes different shapes while playing with their toy. The girth on the ball like end of this dildo is also a spectacular feature of this toy. Since it is glass, it will feel bigger than it looks. Temperature play is also an amazing feature, so why not put it in the freezer or run it under some hot water? Due to its lack of flexibility, be cautious while thrusting as to not bruise your cervix.

Material / Texture

This product is smooth and has two different shapes. One end has large grooves (think of 4 balls lined up next to each other) while the other is swirled (resembling a spiral). Since the material is glass, it does not carry a smell or taste. The firmness and the smoothness of the Violet wonder made it very enjoyable.

Design / Shape / Size

This was our first glass toy and it was amazing. I would recommend it to a beginner to maybe help them decide on what they would like in the future. The picture does not do the Violet wonder justice. It is much more defined in person. For me, it was just the right size even though when I first looked at it, it was a bit intimidating.

Performance

The bulbous end was amazing due to its girth. You can feel each ball as it is going in. The spiral end could have been much longer and possibly thicker. It was hard to get the true feeling for the toy because of how small it was.

Care and Maintenance

It is very easy to clean and to take care of, and it comes with its own little storage bag. The bag is useful in keeping lint from clinging to it. The only difficulty in cleaning it is getting in between the grooves. It is non-porous so there are no big worries on cleaning. Since it is glass, be careful not to drop it as it can cause the glass to fracture and no longer be fit to use.

Packaging

It came in a clear bag that contained a red storage bag. It is a lot different from the bag that is shown in the picture. I do not remember it coming with directions, but there is not really a need for directions.

Follow-up commentary
Still loving this toy. It is by far the most used toys that we own; there is not much to update on it. The ball end is amazing the more you use it. The swirled end is pretty much ignored now, as it is not as easily felt as the ball end for us. If you're looking for something nontraditional this would be something great to try.

      As stated in my review, I was sorely disappointed, as there are only 2" of twisty end, not nearly enough!!!

    • Not at all. I love glass! It's non-porous, easy to clean, and it can be sterilized. Plus it doesn't contain any harmful chemicals.

      You do have to use a little bit of care when thrusting, because it's a rigid toy, and if you're too overenthusiastic you could manage to bruise your cervix. If you're playing alone, that's pretty unlikely, because you'll be able to feel what you're doing, though, so it's more of a concern with partners.

      If you're concerned about glass breaking, remember that it's pyrex glass. If you drop it on a hard enough surface, it will break into chunks, not shards, if it breaks at all. It's nearly impossible to break while in use -- it's a solid piece of glass.

      You should always inspect glass toys before use, just to make sure it doesn't have a chip or a stress fracture, just in case, but if you store them with a reasonable amount of care, it's pretty unlikely that they'll get damaged.
    • Glass sounds awesome! I am looking into it myself. The fear of it breaking has been a deterrent in the past, but I want to thank ToyGeek for all this wonderful information.
