More than for stretch marks.

I am totally in love with Blooming Belly Balm. It works for more than just stretch marks. It's helping me find relief for a painful scar that I have had for two years. It is really helping the color and texture of my husband's surgery scars too. It is for so much more than just stretch marks.

extremely useful review
I have stretch marks. I have a lot of them on my belly, breasts, hips and legs. I'm a bigger girl, so they do happen. But I didn't get Blooming Belly Balm for the stretch marks. Not even close. I don't care that I have them at all. They don't bother me in the least.

But as some people here know, I have a very, very painful scar that I have been hunting for relief from for almost two years.

I'll make this as short as I can with this story. I had surgery the day after my fifth wedding anniversary on my lower back/tail bone area to fix a developmental defect. There was a lot of bad that happened with the surgery, major complications that landed me in triage twice. So there was a lot of trauma to that part of my body. Even after the wound healed, I still had pain. It was bad enough that I went to the doctor a number of times about it, but no reason for it was found.

It was suggested to me by a doctor friend of mine that it could be the skin that was the problem, and she suggested that I use some scar softener, but that didn't work at all.

Time has gone by and I ended up on Eden at the suggestion of a very beloved friend. After nosing around here some, I found Blooming Belly Balm and desperately hoped that it would help the tight skin that is the scar on my tail bone.

And holy cow, Batman, it worked! I started to feel better within a few days. I could tell that the skin was getting softer and actually didn't hurt terribly within a week. The color of the scar has even started to look more like normal skin instead of the bright purple that it has been for almost two years.

My husband has even started to use it on his gallbladder surgery scars. He had the surgery two and a half months ago, and his scars are very bright but not painful. Blooming Belly Balm is actually helping make his scars turn a more natural color than they were.

Blooming Belly Balm is made from organic olive oil, wildcrafted St. John's Wort infusion, beeswax, vitamin E, cocoa butter, and pure ylang ylang essential oil. It comes in a little tub of salve that is three ounces. It's also wonderful for stretch marks, naturally, as well as burns and minor cuts.

Thank the gods for Blooming Belly Balm. I have finally found relief for my pain.
Follow-up commentary
I am so happy that I found and picked up Blooming Belly Balm. It has really been helping that painful scar and has helped soften it up a lot. It's even helping with the scars that my husband has on his belly from gal bladder surgery. His scars are still fresh, but it is helping slowly.

That's neat that you can use it for more than just stretch marks, but makes sense because stretch marks are a lot like scars.

like i said, i don't really care so much about the stretch marks, but it's one of the best scar softeners i have come across.

  • An odd question....
    • I have been looking at this for a while and wondering how well it works on scars.

      Has anyone tried this out?
    • I haven't tried it yet myself but I have read some reviews on it. If my general knowledge is correct (and it very well might not be), stretch marks are a kind of scar, and the reviews seem to indicate that it might fade existing ones some, but is more to prevent new ones from forming.
