Womolia Heat - vibrator by Emotional Bliss - review by Eva Schwaltz

The Womolia is a clitoral vibrator made by Emotional Bliss which is shaped uniquely to stimulate the clitoris and vulva. It heats up, which is supposed to intensify your orgasms, but it takes about 15 minutes of use for it to kick in. It is not an insertable toy, but you can get about an inch of shallow penetration with it.

Its simple design and variety of functions makes this great for beginners and experienced users alike. It is also rechargeable, so you don’t have to worry about batteries.

The Womolia is made of TPE and plastic. The TPE surface is ridged in a nice shape to mould comfortably against the body, and the rest of the toy is smooth. At first it had a nasty smell that I can’t even describe, but a couple of wash-downs with a damp cloth and soap fixed that.

The TPE has no drag, but some water or silicone based lube will help it glide better. This rubber is supposed to be latex free and safe for those who have allergies.

The length of the entire shaft is 8 inches long, and can only be inserted about 1 inch. The maximum circumference around the head is 5 1/4" inches.

The shape kind of reminds me of a telephone receiver. It curves up towards you to give you better access to the buttons and make it easy to hold on to. Its shape is great for those who are prone to sore wrists and fits comfortably in your hand. There is no flexibility to this toy what so ever, but it will provide you with as much firm pressure as you’d like.

The Womolia is very easy to operate. While you are using it, the very top button is the power button. The “+” button on the right controls the vibration patterns, and the “-“ button on the left moves backwards through the different modes. The back button is handy if you find the high vibration setting to be too intense, it’ll take you back to medium without having to cycle through all the patterns. There are nine vibration patterns:
1. Low and steady
2. Medium and steady
3. High and steady
4. Low pulsing
5. Medium pulsing
6. High pulsing
7. Escalation
8. Rollercoaster
9. Two short pulses followed by two long pulses.

The Womolia can be rather noisy on the higher settings, and will most likely be heard through a closed door. The vibrations are felt throughout the toy, and will probably make your hands go numb after a while. The vibrations themselves are very buzzy.

The Womolia is rechargeable, and you’ll have to recharge it when you first get it. The charger plugs into the back of the toy and you can let it charge on its side. Its shape will allow it to stay put, and not roll around and become disconnected. There is a little light that blinks while charging, and it will stay on when it’s done.

On the highest setting, the charge will last you 1.5 hours, but on lower vibration settings, it will last longer. For optimal performance, you should charge this for up to 12 hours, but if left on the charger longer, it won’t hurt the battery.

This toy is not waterproof so washing with wipes or a damp cloth is best. There is a seam around the entire plastic portion, so keep it away from running water. Liquids could easily seep inside it so be careful when cleaning.

Storing this isn’t a problem. No loose particles will stick to it, but it is still a good idea to wipe it down before and after every use. There is no locking feature, and it is rather bulky, so I wouldn’t recommend travelling with it. The material won’t react poorly with other toys. It is also a good idea to recharge it after every use.

The Womolia came in a flimsy cardboard box, along with the charger, and booklet. I didn’t get any samples of lube, so they probably don’t include them anymore. The box is too bulky and can easily be misshapen so personally I don’t use it for storage. The included booklet talks about the company, charging and care instructions, and gives you information about the different properties of the toy.

This isn’t my favourite toy because the vibrations are too buzzy, but I really enjoy the heating feature. The heat doesn’t make my orgasms more intense but it makes them feel a lot nicer. I found that the pauses in the
pulsation modes were too long so I didn’t enjoy them as much as the other patterns.

Overall, this is a nicely designed handheld vibrator that is simple to use, however, it is quite noisy.
