Who turned on the lawn mower?!

The Delight is a great vibrator for anyone who's into a lot of power and is alright with tons of noise. It's made of a soft plastic and has pronounced ridges that feel great inside, when lubricated properly. With three settings that pack a whole lot of punch, this is a great vibrator for more experienced users.

useful review
Before using the Delight, I had never really been into vibrators. I actually once said that they were one of the lines that I would never cross—along with beastiality and scat. No matter who they were to be used on, either myself or someone else, they just hadn't ever interested me. But I received this product as a gift, when I had oddly enough been considering trying one out, so I decided that I might as well give Evolved's Delight a try. If for nothing else, I figured that it could make a nice massager—which is one of the many things that it actually does work quite nicely for.

The packaging that this vibrator is housed in is absolutely adorable. The tin box is so cute, with Evolved's logo, claims of being waterproof, and a few extra designs. It closes by a clip that rolls over the top, almost like a locking plastic bin that's instead made of tin, which is really nice and easy to use for later storage. With a clear plastic front underneath the designs, the Delight is easily displayed, so even though this can be used for storage, it is not discreet. Even so, Evolved really piqued my interest with their packaging, because the presentation was so pleasant and resourceful. Sadly, this vibrator is powered by two AA batteries that are not included.

The Delight vibrator's claims of being smooth and velvety to the touch are not lies. When I felt this product before using it on my partner, the outside was so soft; it was a very inviting textured plastic (that also happens to be phthalates free). It was also very heavy and large, at 7" in length with about 6" insertable, which was somewhat interesting to me personally. The heaviness added with the texture is a little bit of an oxymoron to me—they don't seem to match. Its weight was a bit of a turnoff for me (especially since this was my first vibrator) but, for penetration purposes, it does give it more sturdiness and more of a full feel.

As my baby girl and I were flipping through the settings, before we actually started playing with this vibrator, our eyebrows raised immediately at the Delight's sound and intensity. It buzzed around in my hand and sounded almost like someone was mowing the lawn outside—actually, that's exactly what it sounded like, since the sound was even a bit muffled as if it was being transferred through a window. It was not a low humming sound like some vibrators on the market, but more like a deep motor sound, which is also how its vibrations resonate through the vibrator.

There are a total of three settings, cycled through by the button on the bottom of the Delight. One click turns it to its lowest, another to its medium, again to the highest and loudest, and finally off. When switching from the low to medium settings, there is a huge jump in intensity. But from the medium to the third, there wasn't as much of a difference. The first setting is very heavy, especially for someone who was a beginner like me, and the medium and high settings were just way too much to handle. All of the settings are motor-like rumbles; there are no pulsations or variations of the buzz.

Throughout the entire vibrator, the vibrations can be felt. Mostly stationed in the middle of its shaft, the Delight's vibrations are strong enough to not be much lower as you move away from the center. It's one of the great things about this vibrator—the fact that you can feel it no matter where you touch it. That means that the Delight can be used in places other than the genitals—like for back massages, nipple play, teasing. Of course, people might not be too interested in using it for those purposes, but it's definitely an option if you want one.

The placement of the button can sometimes get aggravating when you're trying to hold it and use it for penetration—there were many times that I was moving this into my little girl and I accidentally pressed it, therefore having to cycle through all of the settings and get back to where I was. I'd suggest not holding this vibrator at the base, but wrapping your hand around the end of the shaft as to not click to a setting that you don't want to use. Because of the plastic's velvety texture, some friction is created to make holding it in this way even easier for you so that you and your partner can enjoy.

Experience
Internally, the Delight works very well and stands up to its expectations. The ridges along its shaft are very pronounced, and definitely can be felt when inside. Keep in mind that this vibrator is meant to be used externally and vaginally—do not use this anally, at all. As you can see from its pictures, there is no base and no way of retrieving this once it's inside. Even though the plastic does create friction, save yourself the worry of having this stuck in either you or your partner's tush.

My baby girl and I had a few fun times with this vibrator, but I eventually gave it to her to keep at her house so that she could have it whenever I want for her to use it. At its price, it's definitely one of those low-priced buys that will last you a long time, and keeping you coming back for more. The Delight by Evolved is a great vibrator, and I'd recommend it for people who like big traditional vibrators and intense vibrations.

Experience

After having my little girl naked on my bed, I got out the Delight and slid in its necessary two AAs, twisting the cap and turning it onto its lowest setting. Moving the shaft against her clit, I had her shuddering and giggling, startled by how it felt on her. She moved up against the vibrator and me, so I slid it between her lips, switching to the third setting almost immediately.

She was again surprised, but rather than giggling, gasped in response, and I pressed it against her clit again. A few minutes of circling and rubbing passed, I slid the vibrator inside of her, her body enveloping almost all of it. Her shivering and moaning made my erection too big to be able to keep using the Delight, so I made love to her, pleased and happy that I had finally tried out my first vibrator.
Follow-up commentary
Since I’ve now tried quite a few vibrators with my little girl, my eyes have opened up to using them because of Evolved’s Delight—different textures, settings, materials, even power sources (my favorite, of course, being rechargeable) are certainly in my future. Even though we have since taken its batteries out and we do not use this as a vibrator any longer (we only use it for penetration purposes, though perhaps someday we will use it together for some teasing), our experiences with it were unforgettable.

Fun! I got the Seduction vibe from Evolved as a gift, too. It's completely smooth, but the ridges on Delight sound awesome... Glad you had a good time with your first vibe!

Definitely, so are my little girl and me - can't wait till they come out with their rechargeables. And I too love all of Evolved's storage containers, they're always wonderful.

Thank you very much, Mr. Sauce!

I'm so happy you had such a positive experience with this toy, and your first vibrator. It's such a pretty color!
  • Contributor: Sir
Thank you very much, MuffysPinguLove, so am I. Yes, it is a lovely shade of blue - you know, that light tint of blue is actually my favorite color. The pink is nice too, though; my little girl would have loved the pink.

I have to admit I'm partial to pink too, but this blue color is very pretty as well. I forgot to add to my last comment: Great Review!
