The Ridge Rider by California Exotics is a wonderful addition to any toy collection. The Rider is 3 inches in length and is 1 ¾ inches in diameter. The description states that it will fit penises up to 6 ¼ inches in girth. I don't know if that part is true but it fit my hubby perfectly. It stretches easily to fit over hubby's shaft. It is made of TRP Silicone which means a water based lube should be used (if desired). Clean up is easy, just use warm water and antibacterial soap. It is also phthalate free making it pretty safe to use.
The Rider has two different types of raised ridges and bars that provide double stimulation upon penetration. There are three sides that have barred ridges ranging from three bars to four bars. On one side is a row of angled ridges that increase in size the farther down it goes. These bars and ridges are soft, yet sturdy enough to provide added stimulation. The sleeve can be reversed so that the ridges are on the inside, providing the shaft with the additional stimulation. The description says that there are two rows of ridges and two rows of bars but as I sit here and look at the sleeve, I see three rows of bars and one row of angled ridges.
This sleeve can enhance and prolong ejaculations. It adds girth to the shaft and aids in longer lasting erections, thus allowing more time for the partner to enjoy the added feelings. A water based lube adds to the ease of using this sleeve but it is not required for enjoyment.
We have had the Rider for almost a year and it still performs as well as it did the day it arrived. Over time, it has become a little sticky feeling but cleans up nicely with warm water and soap. Overall, it has been well worth the low costs and is a staple in our toy collection.

Experience
We have used the Rider repeatedly over the past year. It always pleases, adding the extra girth, the slight sensations from the ridges and bars, and the prolonged erection. Hubby says that it is nice fitting, doesn't cut off his circulation, and stays in place. We generally use lube just to enhance the pleasure. There have been a couple of times that we didn't use lube and the sleeve was still able to penetrate me without any pain or discomfort.

We have sprinkled the sleeve with cornstarch (thanks in the pink), and the tackiness has gone away. We still use this sleeve and really like it. It continues to hold up well and provide extra girth and sensations.

I have to say... the ridges look a bit painful! So this sleeve doesn't take away from his sensations at all? Nice review.
Miss C, it really isn't painful- or at least it wasn't for me. The ridges are really pretty soft and flexible not like a hard plastic.
Hubby said that he really liked it and has not complained about any decrease in his sensations. He is just happy it helps him have a prolonged erection!

Have you used cornstarch to deal with the stickiness? Great review - I also would have guessed this one to be more rigid than your review describes.
We have not tried cornstarch because we've just started to notice the stickiness. But we will try it and let you know if it helps.

How thick is the edge that would be closest to the tip of the penis? It looks like it might be thick enough that you would feel it scraping against you as it went in. I had a problem with the beaded penis sleeve not wanting to go inside me because the beads stick out so far.
Tuesday, I don't have an exact measurement but it has not been a problem for us. The pictures on the description look much thicker than it really is. I can tell when hubby has it on but all I've felt is the added girth, no scraping or rubbing as he entered. It is pretty flexible too, not like some of the other sleeves we've tried. Hope this helps.
