Cal Exotics brings you this review of the Ridge Rider penis girth extension. For starters, this toy was a bit smaller than I expected however, it did have the ridges promised. I was anxious to try this toy as my husband is of a decent size, however I thought maybe added girth would cater to my problem of not having an orgasm during sex.

This toy is for use for vaginal sex but I do not know about anal play; I imagine that would be very tight. If you were using the toy for both vaginal and anal play in the same session, I would recommend a condom to keep the toy free of bacteria even though it is made out of a better grade material. This toy may stimulate the G-Spot for some due to the ridges and for those of you who know where your G-Spot is. You can spin the Ridge Rider to what side gives you the most sensation on the ceiling of your vagina to access the G-Spot.

I'm sure guys and girls alike (use with strap-on dildo) could use this toy. This toy, in my opinion, is a good beginning toy to use for girth enhancement. It was a bit tight going in due to the increased size so I would recommend that your partner be lubed up or aroused enough to allow for easy entry. This is definitely a during-sex toy. I don't see how much use it could be during solo adventures nor do I see it being used as a masturbation stimulate.

The Ridge Rider is made of TPR Silicone, which has a 6 rating. The Rider is for use with water lubricant and has a silicon based rubber compound. It has ribbed texture and has safety features that include: hypo-allergenic, latex and phthalates free. I did not notice any odor with this toy. The Ridge Rider is only available in beige and has a very smooth texture, including the ridges. My husband did not notice any grabbing of the skin when he was wearing this toy.

This toy resembles the shaft of a penis with the exception of the four sides of ridges jutting out from it. The ridges on this toy are sized differently to allow for more sensational feelings as some of the ridges are more pronounced then others. A hole is cut into the bottom and top to allow for placement onto the penis. Some of the ridges are angled down and are thicker while the other ridges are a slight bump off of the toy and curve around the toy. This toy does not have any gaps or seams in it. The Ridge Rider will fit a penis girth of up to 6 1/4" circumference.

This toy is waterproof so it can be used during bath or shower time. Either toy cleaner or soap and water would clean this toy. I wouldn't recommend sterilizing this toy by boiling or dish-washing as it may compromise the material. I would stay away from bleach as well as the material may soak it up.

The Ridge Rider comes in a box with the toy in plastic wrapping. I'm sure it would be fine with other toys of silicone material, however, I would keep it away from plastic. Just to be super safe, I would say keep toys like this in a separate pouch. The packaging for this toy is not discreet. It came in a white box with a picture of it on the front and big, black bold letters of what the toy was. There was no manual or instructions that came with it; the directions were on the box. The directions on the box set a limit of 30 minutes of wear time and 60 minutes in between wearing sessions. This would be a toy that you would need to wrap and I don't think it would be a good idea to keep the toy in the plastic wrapping that it came in. There was also no warranty included in the packaging.

I was really excited about the ridges stimulating my vagina but sadly, they did not. In fact, this toy felt limiting to my state of arousal. It did not stay still during intercourse and always ended up at the base of my husband's penis. He did not have any issue wearing the Ridge Rider. I ended up having my husband take it off during sex because it just wasn't doing anything for me. This toy is considered in the Top 10 for girth enhancement. I'm very glad I got this toy on an assignment, I would really feel like I wasted my money otherwise.

This is the first time I've tried a toy like this. I'm willing to try more toys in this genre and hopefully will find one that will allow me to retain the feeling during sex. I didn't think that the ridges were really noticeable and the toy kept sliding down to the base of my husband's penis so it really didn't move with me. I found that to be frustrating. It in no doubt added girth to my husband's penis, however, the fact that it limited what I could feel was a huge let down for me. I would like to try a girth enhancer that is more snug to my husband so it moves with me or even stays in place that way it may provide more feeling for me while I'm riding him.
