Before receiving the "Pink Lotus Lager" my boyfriend hadn't previously owned any Fleshlight products. Why is this you ask? Well it's because when we first entered into the wonderful world of sex toys he found the realistic looking toys to be downright creepy. So he stuck to brightly colored sleeves, and even tried a glow in the dark masturbator once. Realistic toys were a no go though. It didn't matter how wonderful the reviews of said realistic products were, he didn't want to try them. He was stubborn, but I was stubborner. So, I went behind his back and ordered the "Pink Lotus Lager" of the new Sex in a Can series by Fleshlight. As reluctant as he was to try the "Pink Lotus Lager," his opinions quickly changed, and this easily rose into the rankings of his favorite toys.

The "Pink Lotus Lager" is from the new Sex in a Can product line by Fleshlight. This line has three other types of cans besides the Lotus: the "Succu Dry," "Abbey's Secret Ale," and the "Spread Eagle Brew." The Lotus contains a smaller version of the Lotus textured Fleshlight sleeve. The "Pink Lotus Lager" is smaller than the original Fleshlight, and because of it's size it is quite tight. The tightness of this handheld masturbator make it ideal for average and smaller than average individuals. It can also satisfy the larger user who enjoys a tighter sensation.

The exterior sleeve cover or can is made out of hard plastic. The "Pink Lotus Lager" interior is made out of the same patented Reel Feel Superskin™ as the regular Fleshlight. This material was "designed to replicate the sensation of penetrative sex" and although I've heard great things about Fleshlight products I was a little wary about how realistic the material could feel. I mean how realistic can a man made vagina feel anyways? Considering my concern about the realistic feel of this masturbator I was pleasantly surprised to find that this was the most realistic feeling masturbator that I have ever felt. Ok, so in all honesty it might not feel exactly like a vagina. It's a little squishier, a little stickier and a lot pinker than a realistic vagina, but it comes pretty damn close to the real deal. It's smooth, stretchy and overall very appealing to the touch. From what I can tell there was virtually no smell to either the sleeve or the plastic exterior. The composition of the patented Reel Feel Superskin™ is a company secret, but they do state that the material is phthalates-free.

The exterior of the Fleshlight "Pink Lotus Lager" is shaped like a 16 ounce beer can. The plastic top of the can is silvery in color and looks very similar to the top of a real can. It even has a circular indent around the edge of the can, and a pull tab and drink opening set into the center of the top. The top portion of the can screws off to reveal the squishy Fleshlight interior. The opening of the "Pink Lotus Lager" features the "classic lady orifice" which looks like a realistic vagina, with both labia and a clitoris.

The label features a metallic hot pink band right below the silver top of the can. Underneath the band is a goldish area with a water droplet and bamboo stalk design. On the front of the can is the name "Pink Lotus Lager" and underneath that there is a picture of a squatting female ninja holding a sword horizontally above her bare chest. Waist down she is nude and there is a picture of a lotus covering where her vagina would be. Underneath this illustration it says "16 FL OZ" and below that is a removable silver bottom similar in design to the top of the can. The bottom of the can can be twisted off for cleaning, or can be unscrewed to adjust the suction. The back of the can has a little panel that says "Government Warning" and states that it may be your best friend if your wife is pregnant, may impair your ability to operate heavy machinery, and that "Frequent use may prevent births." The back also has the sex in a can and Fleshlight logos, and states that it is the "#1 selling male sex toy."

The "mini lotus" interior texture is different from the original Fleshlight texture, because it has a series of textured openings ranging from one that looks like a circle, to one that looks triangular, and several oval shaped ones. These openings fall one after another, and there are seven of these little chambers in total. These openings don't only vary in shape, but also in size and width.

The can has a length of 7 1/2" with a width of 2 3/4" and a vaginal depth of 6 1/2." It also weighs around one pound. As previously stated, this masturbator is best suited for smaller than average, and average sized users, because they will not only be able to fit the best, but they will also be able to experience the strongest sensations from the textured sleeve. Although it is possible for larger users to use this masturbator, they may not be able to feel the textured sleeve as well since stretching will occur to accommodate the user. Also, this masturbator is nice in that it is quite adjustable. If you are a larger user you may want to completely unscrew the bottom of the can so that you will have more space for thrusting.

This toy is very easy to hide, because the can acts as a kind of included packaging. The only things that would impede hiding this toy would be the label which has a partially naked squatting woman, and the overall size of the "Pink Lotus Lager." This masturbator is perfect for travel, because you can just throw it in a suitcase without worrying about it getting crushed, or rubbing up against something that might harm the material or cause it to attract unwanted debris.

I found this masturbator to be a two handed toy, and this is because of it's overall size and weight. Keep in mind though that I have smallish hands, and that my boyfriend who has larger hands alternated between using one and both hands during use.

The suction on this masturbator can be adjusted by gradually unscrewing the bottom cap, or by removing it altogether for no suction. This masturbator has a lot of suction on it's own without adjusting the bottom, because it was designed to be such a tight fit. Men like my boyfriend who enjoy a tight experience will enjoy this masturbator as is, but those who aren't as fond of this type of experience may need to experiment with adjusting this toy to fully enjoy using it. We didn't find this toy to be all that noisy, and this is probably because it is a tighter design.

A word of caution: if your hands get sweaty, or if you get a little lube on them, the outside of the "Pink Lotus Lager" becomes very hard to hold onto. This is because the plastic case is smooth and round and therefore there isn't really anything to grip. I would suggest keeping a towel with you during use to wipe your hands in case this kind of a situation arises.

This masturbator is completely waterproof, just make sure if you are using it in the bath or shower that it doesn't come into contact with soap. Something that I found interesting while browsing the Fleshlight site was that it said that that "the soap will also burn if you are using your Fleshlight and it enters your penis." Burning penis= bad, so keep that in mind if you decide to take your sex in a can on a bath-time excursion.

The design of the "Pink Lotus Lager" makes it very easy to clean. Simply unscrew the bottom of the can, slide out the sleeve, and wash both the sleeve and the can if needed. The interior Fleshlight sleeve shouldn't be cleaned with anything but warm water, as anything else could cause damage to the material over time. The plastic can shell can be cleaned with soap and water, but should be properly rinsed and dried before the sleeve is slipped back inside. For "tough cleaning" you can use a little isopropyl alcohol to clean your sleeve. Make sure that the inside of the sleeve has been fully dried before it is placed back inside the can, and put away for storage. To ensure that the inside of your sleeve is completely dried put your Fleshlight in a well ventilated area, and you may even want to slide a thin cloth or towel through the inside to suck up any leftover moisture. It is also suggested that you leave the end caps loose so that air can continue to circulate.

Apparently if the Fleshlight isn't placed in a ventilated area when wet it can develop black spots. Do not fear! This is apparently normal and can be cured with a little bit of isopropyl alcohol.

To keep your sleeve nice and soft, or even to take away a little of the tackiness that it may acquire overtime, it is highly recommended that you dust it with a little corn starch.

Only use water based lubricants with the Fleshlight, as any other type of lubricant might gradually deteriorate the material.

The Fleshlight comes packaged inside a plain cardboard box. Inside the box is a sealed plastic bag which includes the "Pink Lotus Lager," a single use sample of ID Glide lube, and an instruction pamphlet. The cardboard box isn't really worth holding onto as the can exterior is perfect for storage as is. The box also adds a good deal of bulk to the lotus, so if you want to make it a little more inconspicuous I would suggest finding some kind of bag to put it in for storage.

One of my favorite features of this Fleshlight product was the written details which accompanied it. For example the website states that "The pink Lotus is renowned as a highly coveted flower, prized by men in every corner of the world. Indeed, many have been known to fight, cheat, lie, steal, even get married just to have a whiff of this floral delight. But our Pink Lotus is all yours, unsniffed and totally commitment free!" I thought this was a witty little descriptive blurb about the product. Also, the little panel on the back of the lotus with the "Government Warning" was an awesome little touch that made both my boyfriend and I laugh.

This product has completely changed my boyfriend's view of realistic looking masturbators. The lotus has easily become his favorite toy and has put his other masturbators to shame. After seeing how much enjoyment my boyfriend has received from the "Pink Lotus Lager" I foresee us purchasing one of the full sized Fleshlight's very soon both for comparison sake, and also for variety.
