Use

This toy is best suited for male masturbation and works best when used with a stroking motion. It is a hand-held sleeve that fits over the penis. It can be used to stimulate the entire penis or you can focus on specific areas. The Sidekick #2 can be used by just about any man, provided he is okay with having a toy that may not completely cover the length of his penis. It is excellent for solo use or with a partner.

Material / Texture

The Sidekick #2 is made from Elastomer. This means it is hypoallergenic, phthalates-free, and latex-free. Upon opening the package, I did realize that it has a slight plastic smell - but only when you hold it up to your face and smell it. The smell does not linger on the skin or become apparent in the room. The Elastomer is also very soft, stretchy, and flexible, if a little sticky.

The toy is reversible. One side is just smooth and the other has small ridges. The ridges, along with the pliability and flexibility, provide a nice cushion between your hand and penis; and it is much softer than a bare hand.

As a beginner, I am not sure if this toy would be suitable for someone more advanced.

Shape / Design / Size / Fit

The design is fairly basic and works well for its intended purpose. The ridges are a nice touch, as is the blue color. The fact that you can use both sides of this toy is also a bonus.

The shape of this toy seemed a little restrictive to me, but that might be because I am larger in girth than the average man. It did stretch enough to accommodate me, but it seemed that the toy did not retain the shape it was intended to.

4 1/2" is the length of this toy, which is not long enough to cover the length of most men. I personally would have enjoyed it more if it were a little longer, just because it would have covered more of me at once. I do think this toy is good for beginners and average users because it gives you a general feel for what a sleeve is like without having to spend too much.

This toy is fairly discreet as it is not at all realistic. If someone were to find this toy, they probably would not know what is was unless they were familiar with such things. It is easy to hide as it does not take up much space. I do recommend keeping it in the box though because it does have a tendency to pick up a bit of lint and hair.

While this toy is not mechanical, I did find it to be a little noisy when in use. It makes a bit of a sucking sound which may be lessened by using more lube.

Care and Maintenance

Elastomer is safe for use with both water and silicone based lubricants, and it is easy to clean. However, it cannot be sterilized, so I recommend that you do not share this toy unless using it with a condom. For cleaning, you can use soap and warm water or your favorite toy cleaner, and then let it dry. Once again, it's a good idea to store it in the box it comes in or something similar as it tends to pick up lint.

Packaging

The Sidekick #2 comes in a small plastic box that is just a bit bigger than the toy. Inserted into the box is a purple card stating the contents. This card can be removed easily, leaving you with the perfect place for storage. The package is see-through and is, therefore, not very discreet.
