The BO Pleasure Object is constructed of a combination of phthalate-free TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) and ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene). Both of these are fancy ways to say plastic the TPE being flexible and the ABS being rigid. The ring portion of the toy is the flexible or stretchy part for obvious reasons and the solid part of the toy is where the rechargeable battery and vibrator are located. The first thing that stuck me upon receiving the BO was the packaging. The box it came in contained all of the parts and manual and reminded us of a higher end watch box. Inside the box were the wall charger, manual, and the toy itself. Adding to the unique packaging was the fact that both parts of the toy are enclosed in a small compact looking case which keeps it discreet as well as clean during storage and charging.
The lithium ion battery charges in about an hour and is good for about four hours of use before another charge is required. There is an indicator light that illuminates when the toy is fully charged. This is a cord free toy which is a really nice feature. There is no on off button to have to worry about, sliding the ring together with the battery portion turns the toy on. It only has one speed but it is a very powerful motor packed in there and it provided very good stimulation for both of us.
The ring stretches enough to easily slide on a hard-on but not enough to get it around the balls as well. The vibrating portion can be positioned either at the base to provide additional stimulation to the balls or on top to provide clitoral stimulation during intercourse. We tried both ways and found the vibrations to be quite strong and stimulating in both positions especially during grinding. Is this realy all it's cracked up to be, or should I just tape a bullet vibe to my balls and call it a day. Because the motor on this thing doesn't look any bigger then your average $20 cock ring, and yet it's over 3 times that. It just seems like a rip off for a so called luxury sex toy thats nothing more then a stretchy band with a rechargeable vibe attached.

I think the cost is mostly because it's rechargeable, and not necessarily because it's something super revolutionary.

My boyfriend and I have this. I like it because it's made of non-porous material, and it's rechargeable. You can re-use it a lot more than the jelly rings that uses bullets operated by watch batteries.
Personally I am not a big fan of vibrating rings in general. I wanted to experiment. I hate porous material and watch batteries. Lelo bo then became a very obvious choice.
The vibration from bo is not very rumbly, it's pretty buzzy. It's more of a tease during intercourse. We don't use it often though.

Was it powerful enough to orgasm with for you (without any manual clitoral stimulation)? Did this ring strengthen his erection? Or help prolong his orgasm? You said it's not large enough to fit over his testicles, can you give an example to how far it would stretch (like around a soda can or emoty paper towel roll)?
SD: The vibrations may be strong enough for some but vibrations alone have never really worked for us, the tightness of the ring did make his erection stiffer, last longer, and he maintained it longer after orgasm. It will stretch around a standard size can of shaving cream but the ring was stretched pretty far. I imagine it could be stretched a little bit more than that. Based on that stretch you might be able to go around both an erection and scrotum but it would probably be a tight fit and get uncomfortable rather quickly.
Interesting review for an interesting product. The rechargeable batteries are very nice. We've owned rings that took watch batteries and they never lasted long. It proved costly! It would be nice if this ring fit over the balls too...
