The Bo, like all Lelo products, comes in well-designed packaging that helps reinforce the luxurious feel of the toy. Inside the outer carton is a hard-sided black box that can be used to store the toy, or for whatever else you can think up. I use mine to store hair elastics.

The Bo comes with a hard plastic storage case, a charger, an instruction manual, and booklets about the warranty and 10-year guarantee. The charger is exactly the same as other Lelo chargers, so if you already own another Lelo toy there is no need to keep them both plugged into the wall (unless you really want to charge both toys at the same time).

One of the Bo's best features is the fact that it is rechargeable. If the battery is completely drained, it takes about two hours for it to completely recharge. Once at a full charge, you can use the Bo for up to two hours before it dies. If you manage to drain the Bo in one non-stop session, you should give your partner a high-five.

This toy is actually made up of two pieces: a hard plastic vibrator, and a TPE ring with a hard plastic track for the vibe to slide into. To turn the vibrations on, simply slide the two pieces together. To turn them off, slide them apart again. You can even use the vibrator on its own if you want, but you have to hold the button down.

The vibrations aren't terribly strong, but they also aren't very loud. While I really wish the vibrations were stronger, I find that I like the sound level. It's soft enough that I can forget about it during sex and focus on my partner.

The Bo is not as stretchy as some other cock rings. It can be worn over both the penis and the balls, but if your (or your partner's) package is on the large side you may be more comfortable just wearing it around the shaft. During reverse cowgirl, I felt like grinding my clit on the vibe was also going to grind the vibe into his balls, so I didn't do much of that. During doggie-style, I felt like the vibe was slamming into my vulva a bit hard and we had to stop.

While I felt like the Bo was most pleasurable when I was on top, I still did not reach the elusive hands-free orgasm. The vibrations are too weak to get me there, and unless I'm just sitting there, grinding, I only feel the them intermittently due to thrusting. However, that does not mean that the Bo is a failure! I really did enjoy adding the Bo to PIV sex, especially if I had already had an orgasm beforehand. I liked that I could feel my partner's penis vibrating inside of me.

Care and maintenance isn't too difficult, but there are some things you need to watch out for. First, TPE is porous and can never be totally sterilized. This means that this may not be a great toy for someone who isn't in a committed relationship (unless you plan on using it solo). Second, this toy has interlocking parts, and it is definitely in the splash zone during sex... bodily fluids get into every nook and cranny. You need to be sure to wash it really well to get all of it off after every use, and you may even consider using an old nail- or toothbrush to do a very thorough job. Be careful with the vibrator; it is not meant to be submerged, and the charger port needs to be kept dry.

If you have a dildo that you really wish vibrated, you could also put the Bo on it instead of on a penis. There are probably cheaper ways to do this, but if your partner is out of town and you want to feel like you're getting the most out of your toys... why not.
