Definitely Not The Sticky Mess I Was Thinking Of

The Love Nectar can be "drizzled over tempting places", poured into hot tea, or used however you see fit to "call forth your erotic energies." I found it to be a bit too sticky to use on the body. I don't really have many options to use mine, as the bottle is broken, and I do not want to ingest broken glass.

Pressing on the top of the bottle of the Love Nectar, I attempted to spray some out onto my hand. After a few presses, and getting nothing from the bottle, I unscrewed the top to discover that the glass straw inside of the bottle (that runs up to the pump top) had broken. Wonderful. The bottle was pretty much useless to me.

When I decided to review the Love Nectar, I chose the Mandarin Spice fragrance, thinking that would smell delicious. It does indeed smell as good as it sounds. When I opened it, it released the scent of cinnamon, cloves, and oranges into the air. If only I could spray it on me.

I tried to kind of rub some of it on me, which turned out disastrous. This stuff is really sticky if you put too much on one spot, so I ended up washing a lot of it off. It also got in my hair, which was a really nasty mess that ended up pulling out a lot of my hair. It’s kind of like rubbing honey on your body.

I previously reviewed the Kissing Balm released by the same company. I found the product to be an enjoyable lip balm, so I was hoping I’d get an awesome body spray from them too. I probably would have enjoyed it had they not made the straw out of glass, which I guess broke during shipping. Putting it on was kind of dangerous too, because there were some pieces of glass mixed in there that I got all over myself.

I’m not sure if I would recommend purchasing the Love Nectar or not. It smells great, but it is also sticky, and who knows how many bottles will end up with broken straws. I haven’t tried it in my tea, due to the broken glass mixed in there. It also pretty much says to use it however you see fit. It might taste good on toast.
Follow-up commentary
Unfortunately, since this bottle is broken, it is now finding its way into the trash. I would have loved to use it in my bath or a drink, but the bits of broken glass pretty much crushed either of those ideas. I am definitely going to order another bottle sometime soon so I can fully experience this product.
