Ok. Let me get this out of the way first... Out of the whole 2 fluid ounce bottle... I only used this for sex once. Just once.

Because then? I discovered how delicious it was and it made appearances in my teas, drizzled over fruits. But it did taste delicious over a man's nipples and the head of his penis.

Now. On to the reason you are reading this review!!! Let's talk about the product!!!!

Bottle: As with all the Sensuous Beauty line when it comes to Essential Oils and such, the Love Nectar comes to you in an amber bottle with a pump lid. The pump for this product... well let's just say it is seriously lacking. Rather than giving you a perfect amount like the Facial Moisturiser, you get a tiny drop. Hardly enough to properly cover a nipple. And hardly enough for slice of fruit. However; it is perfect for bite sized peices of fruit.

And then? When you want another pump, you get a smaller drop. Then a smaller drop. The secret of getting a larger drop again, is to stop pumping for a moment then carry on.

Or. Just do what we did. Unscrew the lid and pour away!!!

Ingredients. Simple! Wildcrafted damiana, raw honey, distilled water and pure essential oils of cinnamon, orange and clove.

Now, I could go into what all these ingredients are... but seriously. Who needs me to explain what water or cinnamon, orange or cloves are? You celebrate Christmas! You know these things!

But... what the heck is this "damiana"? Let's copy and paste from WebMD: "Damiana is used to treat headache, bedwetting, depression, nervous stomach, and constipation; for prevention and treatment of sexual problems; boosting and maintaining mental and physical stamina; and as an aphrodisiac. Some people inhale damiana for a slight "high."" Now, let me take you to the damiana page from Wiki: "Damiana has long been claimed to have a stimulating effect on libido, and its use as an aphrodisiac has continued into modern times. More recently, some corroborating scientific evidence in support of its long history of use has emerged. Several animal testing studies have shown evidence of increased sexual activity in rats of both sexes. Damiana has been shown to be particularly stimulating for sexually exhausted or impotent male rats as well as generally increased sexual activity in rats of both sexes."

Ohhhh... a sexual stimulant? You heard right!

But does it work? Yes and no. I did find that consuming Love Nectar did excite and arouse me a little, but not more than a little.

Now. Let's talk honey.

I mean seriously. What is there not to like about honey? Unless, of course, you are allergic to bee's. If you are allergic to bee's you might want to skip this Love Nectar. And the health benefits of using honey? Well... the list is so long, that rather than just trying to explain them all, I'll just give you a link and another link.

What made me use my very valuable points on this item, is was made with "raw honey". Here is an article from the Food Safety News that might interest you if you are curious to know that you might not actually be buying honey when you shop for honey in the US. Basically; as my younger sister puts it, "most store bought honey has been raped of all its good stuff". You know those almost goldeny-see-through honey's at the store? Those are hardly even honey anymore. They've been so heated up so much, filtered over and over to get what most people think is "good" honey.

Where in fact, honey should not really be see through. It should be a solid at room temperatures, and have an almost milky look. And sometimes, even little debris (like parts of a bee or honey comb) at the bottom of the jar.

I know I get excited when I see parts of a honey bee at the bottom of my jar. For then, I truly know my honey was the good stuff.

Now that's right. Reach into your cupboard, pull out some honey and check it out! What kind of honey do you have?

Unfortunately; I accidently broke the bottle while I was cleaning it, and I had not taken a picture. So this review, is pictureless.

I really liked using this during oral, as the man I was with didn't... well... he ate lots of meats, drank a lot of milk and beer. Ladies... you know what I mean. He tasted... awful. He was not happy that I told him that was the reason I pulled out the Love Nectar (I did tell him that he needed to change his diet if he wanted my mouth around his cock. I did give fair warning!) and applied generously to his cock. I did find that the spices and the honey lessened the bitterness of his cum.

Which was a bonus for me!!!

What I liked best about this honey mixture, was that I could pump a drop of it on a slice of sour apples, or over my banana or other fruit and happily go about knowing that I was more happy eating that than a bowl of ice cream. I loved putting some in my green tea!!! It just gave my tea a hint of sweetness!

Now that I am out of the Love Nectar, and EF no longer carries this item, I have made my own. Are you ready for a recipe that you can use in the bedroom? Or on fruit? Or in tea?

2-3tbsp of raw organic honey
liberal dash of cinnamon
2 cloves
1 tsp coconut milk (you can use water, but I preferred the coconut milk)
Mix well using a fork. Leave over night (or a couple of hours) and remove the cloves. Store in the refrigerator for up to three days. Can be used with your partner instead of edible body paint and makes a delicious dipping sauce!

Sidenote: ladies, I would not suggest inserting honey into your vagina. Drizzled on your labia to be sucked and licked off is one thing, but try to avoid getting it inside of you.
