Plane friendly travel kit - bath and shower gel discontinued by Cake Beauty - review by Badass

The use of these are very versatile and totally up to you. Since they are plane friendly, you have the opportunity to take them on vacation with you. The even come in a plastic bag that can be zipped open and closed again to seal any leaks in. This makes it even more perfect for travel and leaves you worry free about storing with your clothing. Each little container contains 2.2 ounces and I found that a little goes a long way with these products.

You can use them to try out the "It's a slice", "Dessert Island", and "Milk made" products before forking over the money for the big bottles. This set comes with a body froth(body wash) and lotion in both the "It's a slice" and "Dessert Island", but just the velveteen hand cream for "Milk Made". These little guys will give you a chance to see what smells you enjoyed and what products worked best for making your skin soft.

The shower gels were of normal shower gel consistency. They didn't appear watered down or old and clumpy. The bath froths are extremely easy to pour and even easier to create suds with. They rinse off as easily as any other shower gel as well. With some shower gels, your skin can be dried out or flaky after use. These bath froths did not have that problem in the least. In fact, I thought my skin felt exceptionally smooth. I highly recommend using these with a loofah or pouf.

The lotions were all of normal lotion consistency. They have a distinct creamy feel to them, but none are thick, clumpy, or runny at all. The lotions are smooth and velvety and rub into skin with ease. They leave no glitter or shimmer behind, just your super moisturized skin. The lotions also don't leave you skin feeling oily or greasy at all.

It's a Slice Shower gel and Lotion
The lotion and body wash in this scent smell almost identical. When smelling either of them, my mind thinks of a orange creamsicle. You can clearly smell the scent of oranges, but the cream or vanilla scent is equally as powerful. While I adore the smell of them, I love that the smell is long lasting as well. After washing with the shower gel, your skin smells awesome but leaves no taste behind. After rubbing the lotion into your skin, it also leaves no taste behind.

These smell like vanilla frosting or a fresh baked vanilla cake. It has a sugary sweet smell that makes my brain think of baked goods. Another smell I would compare it to is coconut cream pie. It is a delectable smell that truly smells good enough to eat. As with the "It's a Slice" products, neither the shower gel or lotion leave behind a taste. All they leave is the yummy smell.

Milk Made lotion
This one smells a lot like honey. It has a creamy smell to it, but the honey portion is much more dominant. This lotion, like the others, leaves the smell lingering on your flesh all day, but does not leave behind a taste.

None of the 5 components in this kit taste good straight from the container. Dispite how awesome they smell, refrain from licking them. You will regret it. The lotion tastes like lotion and the shower gels reminded me of getting my mouth washed out with soap as a child.

I was very pleased with the moisturizing properties of all 3 lotions. All kept my skin nice and soft all day long. I was also very pleased with the length of the smell. I can apply some in the morning and still smell it when I go to bed that night. I feel like they absorb very well into skin without much effort. Everyone loves lotion that leaves their skin feeling silky.

I was also happy with the 2 bath froths. I felt clean after showering with them, and loved that the smell lingered on my skin for a very long time. I believe that the bath froth's have moisturizing properties as well. Even without using the lotion, your skin feels seriously smooth and silky after washing. When using on a loofah, this shower froth practically makes the bubbles for you.

These 5 components come to you in a clear plastic bag with white trim and a white zipper on top. All 5 can be clearly seen from the outside. While inside this bag, you're components should not be able to leak. I don't think the bottles that the lotions and bath froths come in would leak either, but you have my guarantee when they are in the plastic bag.

The bag is fairly discreet. Nothing about the bag or the individual bottles scream "I bought these from a sex toy shop". While this set is intended for trips involving planes, I see this set being great for any kind of trip. Even an overnight trip to your boy/girlfriends house.

Each of the bottles in the bag are clear as well. You can see from the outside what color the bath froths and body mousses are from the outside. All of the lids on these bottles are a matte clear that cannot be seen through. For opening the bottles, all you have to do is push down one side and the other pops up. To close, simply push the lid back closed.

I am glad I purchased this before I purchased the big bottles of any of them. This kit gave me the opportunity to find out which smells I truly enjoyed so that I can invest in my favorite. I loved Desserted Island the most and look forward to getting the big bottle of both the bath froth and body mousse. Down the line, I know I enjoy the It's a Slice scent as well, and would invest in it too.
