Male attractant pheromone bracelet - perfume discontinued by Evolved Novelties - review by Jul!a

In theory, wearing this bracelet is supposed to help aid you in "bringing all the boys to the yard." Or at least making them turn their heads, give an extra glance, anything. In reality, you're just getting a pretty pink bracelet that just kinda looks nice.

The bracelet itself is a pretty bright pink, and stamped with the words "EVOLVEDWORLD." The package says that it's make from 100% pheromone infused silicone. The only part of that I'm sure of is that it's silicone. For the most part, it looks pretty high quality. The edges look like they were pulled from the mold funny, and don't appear to have a clearly finished edge to them. The rest of it has a really nice, solid matte finish to it. It's thick enough to feel really sturdy, but not so thick that it feels hard to work with.

It measures about 6 3/4" around on the inside. My wrist is just under 6" around, and this bracelet is nice and loose on me, but in a good way. It doesn't ride all the way up my arm, but if it comes off, it's because I took it off, not because it fell off. My husband's wrist is abut 7 1/2" around, and on him, it was comfortably tight. He said it was definitely noticeable that it was there, but it didn't feel like it was going to cut off his circulation. Even still, neither of us recommend wearing it for an extended period of time if it fits like that. Better safe than sorry.

There's supposed to be a scent of some kind. I'm not sure what exactly it's supposed to be. Neither is my husband. I smell a light rubbery scent, barely detectable, but nothing bad. He says it smells like a new book. The package says that the band is good for 45 days after opening. When I got mine, the package was already open thanks to a split in the side seam. So I have no idea how long it's actually been open for. It also claims that "placing these bracelets over my wrist will create a natural reaction from my own sweat glands." Well, I wore it for a few days, in the shower, while sleeping, when I went out. And nothing. Didn't make a difference to my husband, any of my male friends, or any male that I happened to interact with.

I'll admit, I'm not entirely sure why we bought this. I know I wanted to try the female bracelet, because I heard it smelled really good. I'm also a sucker for buying sets of things just to have the whole set.

Overall, I like the color (it matches my watch!), and I like the general design. Everything else is kind of a fail, and while I don't recommend it to anybody, I don't regret having it either.

Well, since this one never really smelled much to begin with, it got forgotten about pretty fast. I brought it back out after checking the Female attractant bracelet again and finding it had no scent left to it, and nope, this one still kinda sucks. It's still a cute bracelet, and works surprisingly decently as a coaster for a can, but it's not going to bring any boys to your yard.
