Endurance clamp - nipple jewelry by Spartacus - review by Booktease

My partner and I have experimented with nipple clamps in the past, but had never purchased any quite this intense. The design of these nipple clamps is pretty standard. A lightweight, silver colored chain connects two alligator clips. The teeth of the alligator clips are covered in rubber to make them less painful. The rubber covers can slide off, though I wouldn't recommend it. Without the rubber barrier, the clips have jagged edges which would be entirely too painful for most people to enjoy.

It took me awhile to figure out how to get these clamps to stay on my nipples. The clips are pretty strong, and I found that I had to bend them open a bit extra to actually enjoy them. I would say I have pretty standard nipples as far as size is concerned, but the pressure of these was too much for me. Once I bent the clips a bit, I was able to get them to a more comfortable pressure. If you're just starting off with nipple play and nipple clamps, I would really recommend something with a more easily adjusted pressure such as these or even a tweezer style clamp such as this one.

I really enjoy the chain on these, though I can see how it might get in the way during vigorous sex. The chain is not removable unless by force, and you might not be able to reattach it once you yank it off. It's certainly not made to be removed. Also, those with large nipples may have a hard time getting the clamps to attach comfortably. These clips are not at all adjustable unless you use force to spread the clamps open, and you run the risk of breaking them in doing so.

I'm not sure I'd ever wear these in the shower, as I don't think the metal is high enough quality to really weather well in the water. I also would probably not wear these under clothes, since the chain would get in the way.

I love wearing these with or without a partner. With a partner, it's a fun and sexy accessory. Without a partner, it adds a little extra something to solo playtime.

I enjoyed this toy very much in the beginning and have actually begun to enjoy it more. I still wouldn't recommend this toy for beginners, but I've come to absolutely love it. I may invest in something with adjustable pressure eventually so that I can share it with my partner who has more sensitive nipples, but for now it works just great! Also, it shows no signs of wear or tear.
