Chocolate shower bar - edible treats by Chocoholics divine desserts - review by RosesThorns

Ok, so while this product was a great idea...it was not executed well...and I'm honestly not sure there is a way to execute it well. I love chocolate...I love chocolate on my partner... but...watered down chocolate isn't great. I have to admit I ended up eating a good bit of the chocolate like it was a candy bar while waiting for the timing to be right for a shower desert. It did melt in the shower like it was supposed to but the shower had to be rather hot, which wasn't comfortable for my partner. Also it looked kinda gross cause it got clumpy. The chocolate itself tastes great and honestly left the skin rather soft... unexpected benefit.

The chocolate shower bar comes in a nice box and wrapped in shiny gold foil. The chocolate itself is pure chocolate nothing added that was creepy or gross which is nice. It's also a semi-sweet chocolate as opposed to a sweeter milk, so for you dark/bitter chocolate lovers you may like this a lot more than the milk chocolate lovers. The box doesn't have a lot of info on how to use the product and I think that it really should have a bit more detail. I do like the idea of this shower desert but I wonder if there is just a better way of going about it.

All in all... This is a good product that some people may like while other won't. If you want a fun messy way to play in the shower this is for you, if not...I would look for another product. My partner was put off by the texture/look of the melted chocolate but enjoyed the taste.

His thoughts: Good idea, but in practice was difficult to execute in our shower, but it tasted pretty good. Being in the shower clean up was easy with hot water and soap. Needs refining.

It was a good idea but *shrugs* I still feel that it could have been better. I loved the idea of chocolate all over my partner's body.
