Tingle gel by Doc Johnson - review by onehotmomma

I thought the Tingle Gel would be pretty and fun. It worked well for its purpose, minus the taste and smell. I can only speak for the strawberry flavor, and it tasted fake. I can't even really describe it, sort of a plastic taste to it. I think if it tasted better I would be able to give it a little bit better of a review. The smell was terrible also, my partner could barely stand it.

I bought this to test it out. I thought it would be fun because it's pink and in a cute container. The container seals very well, and is easy to wipe off. The tingle effect worked great on nipples, but not so much anywhere else. It did do it's job to an extent, but I personally am not a fan of the flavor, smell or consistency. I wish it would have had a better "tingle" effect as well.

The consistency of the gel made it hard to spread out evenly. There were little globs in some areas and runny in others. It did give off the tingling/cooling vibe, but not as much as I would have thought. In the container it seemed to be a little separated. It was watery on the top and the gel was underneath, there really isn't anything you can do about it. The container isn't big enough to mix it around so you need to do that in your hands.

The smell overpowered everything. It was really hard to be relaxed and use it when the whole time you are trying to turn your head to not breathe it in too much. I think if there was some sort of scent added to this, it would be 100 times better. It is really hard to get the smell off of your hands, it took me repeated washings.

Instead of numbing it was more of a cooling effect that didn't last very long. It was fun to use as a cooling gel though, and we continue to use it as that. We do need to use a lot of it to keep the cooling effect going. The numbness lasts very briefly when you are first rubbing it on your skin. As soon as you lose touch to the area it starts to go away, and will only come back if you apply more gel.
