Tingle gele - gel discontinued by Doc Johnson - review by SimpleHedonist

This is a fantastic multi-purpose arousal gel! While obviously designed for oral use, hence the cherry flavor, it works fantastically for adding a little (to a lot) of tingle to all sorts of activities and body parts. If you are overly sensitive to tingle or cooling gels, then you may want to go slow and experiment a little before slathering this stuff on, as it does have a good amount of "kick" if used in any quantity. The nice thing is that you can control the intensity of the effect by using just a dab to a an ample slathering or any where in between.

If you are sensitive to Glycerin or like to avoid parabens, this may not be a good choice for you.

As the name indicates, this product is a gel. The thickness of the gel is greatly affected by the temperature of the product. If used at an average room temperature the gel is a bit gloppy, almost like a hair gel. I tried out this product while away at a hotel, and left it sitting right on top of an air conditioning vent overnight. I decided to wake up my sweetie with some oral fun, and discovered that when chilled this product is even more fun! Chilling the product thickens up the gel to the consistency of petroleum jelly. I found that when chilled, it is much easier to apply without making a mess.

No matter the consistency when applied, once you start using the gel it gets very loose, slippery, and water like. It does not feel oily or sticky at all, and is very slippery, though the slipperiness does not last to be used as a lube.

I loved the flavor of this product! The cherry was very strong, and to me very pleasant. It does have a slight menthol taste, and reminded me of a very mild cherry cough drop. The flavor lasts and lasts, and did not need to be reapplied to keep my sweetie tasting like a lollipop.

The aroma was also like a cherry candy scent, and was not overpowering. The scent fades fairly quickly after use, so you will not wake up in the morning smelling like a cherry popsicle.

I love fruity candies like Jolly Ranchers, and this product is right on par, scent and flavor wise, with that type of candy. It does not taste or smell like natural cherry in any way.

Both the flavor and aroma of this product made me feel like a teenager! I told my sweetie this, and his response was that he sure wished he would have known me as a teenager!

This product does exactly what it says it does, tingle! The amount of tingle depends on the amount of the gel that you apply. A dime size amount provided a light and pleasant tingling, which might be just enough for more sensitive users. I personally like a lot of tingle, and was able to get that with a quarter size dollop of the gel.

For oral, my husband felt plenty of tingle, which he enjoyed quite a bit. My mouth did not tingle but did feel cool and slightly numbed, about the same as sucking on a cough drop. The slight numbing effect is great for minimizing the gag reflex. I loved the tingle as well when my husband used some on my clit during oral.

Beside the obvious use for oral play, I also love this gel for use on my g-spot, either during sex or solo play with a glass toy. A single application kept me sensitized and tingling for multiple orgasms.

The gel is very easy to clean up! After oral, there was no residue left to worry about, but what was left after sex or play was easily wiped off with a wipe or rinsed off with water.

The gel comes in a small 4oz plastic tub with a screw top lid. It is very secure with no worries of spills or leaking even if thrown in a bag for travel. The container is fairly discreet. It does say tingle gele on the lid, but looks like it could be a regular cosmetic product.

I mentioned earlier that I accidentally chilled my tub of gel by leaving it on an air conditioning vent. That was the happiest accident I could ever imagine! When chilled, everything about this gel is better! Not only is the texture better and easier to use, but the cold sensation when first applied is amazing! Before the gel gets warm you will be plenty hot. The flavor of the product is also enhanced when chilled.
