Pleasure balm prolonging gel - gel discontinued by Kama Sutra - review by Cinnamon Chambers

I am in love with Kama Sutra products, that is all but this one. This one is the worst product from them that I have sampled. The taste is horrible and it works only mildly as an arousal or prolonging gel.

This is one of the products in the Kama Sutra Treasure Trove and buying the set is the only reason I got the gel. They just are not my thing and generally taste very medicinal. I did have higher expectations since this one is made by Kama Sutra. After sampling, I would recommend against buying this, unless you are buying the Treasure Trove gift set and getting this as a part of it.

I went through 3 samples of the tangerine flavor of this gel. Two were quite similar, and one was way off and different from the other two. The first two I got were in little tubs. I have been told by Kama Sutra that this no longer comes in a canister but it comes packaged in a tube. The first one had completely spilled inside my Treasure Trove set, and it smelled like toothpaste with only a hint of tangerine. It was cooling on my hand from digging through it to open the rest of the set. The second one was a much deeper orange color than the first one. It had no orange scent at all, only a very chemical odor. When I got it on my skin, it was extremely numbing to the extent of being similar a dental numbing gel. The third came in a tube and it was similar in scent to the first one I had opened. I prefer the tube packaging because it is fresher and the canisters are prone to seepage and spills during storage.

I only tasted the third tube I received since the canisters are older product and have been discontinued by Kama Sutra for a while. The taste is gross. Rubbed in thoroughly it is not as bad as if there is visible gel on the body part. It is still not something I care to taste on a regular basis. The combination of orange and mint is not very appetizing. It does provide some numbing to the lips and tongue but it is not intense or long lasting.

My partner and I tried this gel on my nipples. This is the most pleasurable way to use the product. It made them tingle and become erect easier than with nothing. We applied a tiny bit to my husbands penis with no pain or burning. I massaged it in thoroughly, let it sit for about a minute and then wiped the exterior of his penis before penetration. It worked poorly as a prolonging gel. This is not a safe product to use internally, and it does contain glycerin, which may contribute to yeast infections. So please wipe any excess gel before penetration if you choose to use this prior to sex. I tried a tiny touch of it to my clit and it burned badly. I would not recommend it being used on or near the vagina. If you do decide to try it, please use caution and only a small amount to start with and proceed with caution.

With use this product is extremely sticky. It has not left a stain on anything but I suggest having a towel under you during use and keep a wash cloth near by in case you need to wipe an area off. You will need a shower after this, but it washes off completely with soap and water. The tingling and cooling effects are also not long lasting and normal sensation will return with in minutes of use. This does contain menthol, so expect similar sensations to that of sports analgesics.

I have tried this in tangerine, strawberry and raspberry. The strawberry is the best as far as flavor goes but it is still not actually good. Raspberry Kiss is o.k. but the Tangerines and Creme is terrible. Neither my partner nor my self liked the tangerine flavor, the effects, or the stickiness.
