Ordinary But Awesome

At the very basic level, this toy is as fun as you make it. All it really is is a simple, sleek dildo with a detachable suction cup that sticks to almost any flat, smooth surface and lets you do whatever it is you want to do. That alone gives you-- and your partner(s), if you so choose-- a world of endless possibilities. It may not look like much, but with a little imagination it can do a lot for you.

Use

The Sex in the Shower Dildo w/ Suction Cup is pretty much exactly what it says. A simple, rubber dildo with a flat base that comes with a suction cup that attaches to the base. It's easy to put together and use, and it's kind of pretty too.
The toy is meant primarily for internal vaginal use in the shower-- hence the name-- although the flat base implies that it could possibly be used for anal play as well (although it's pretty thick, so it wouldn't be for beginners).
With just a little bit of pressure you can stick the dildo (with the suction cup attached) to almost any flat, smooth surface. So while it's meant to go in the shower, the counter, toilet seat, or even a perfectly smooth floor would also suffice in most cases.
As a related noted, I will mention that the suction cup does not stick properly to anything textured. This means that if your shower/tub is like mine and has a "non-slip" bottom, it's probably not going to work wherever that is. It's pretty versatile though, so that doesn't mean you're out of options. Try the back curve of the tub, or the flat edge of it. Sit up on the sink counter, whether in the bathroom or the kitchen. Tables and dressers are also potential places, so next time you're in the mood, pick and place and give it a whirl!

Material / Texture

The texture is smooth and simple, with a good firm rubber feel that I actually kind of like. It's not porous or hard, and it's a nice sleek feeling instead. It isn't too flexible but it does have a little give to it. It will move with you, but won't bend all the way over like some toys do.

Design / Shape / Size

I like the simple, no-frills design of this dildo. It's not flashy or wild-- although it is bright blue-- and it doesn't pretend to be anything it isn't. A simple phallic with a fairly small, smooth head and a simple flared base, it's obviously a dildo and it looks good that way. It's not a slim toy, but not painfully thick either. Once again it hits a moderate in-between that I came to like.

Performance

Generally speaking, I'm not usually too fond of your every day plain dildo. But with it's smooth feel and handy suction up, this toy is as fun and useful as you make it. It's versatility is it's biggest draw, allowing you to use it in pretty much whatever way (and place) that you can think of.
    • Easy to use
    • Lots of variety in function
    • Not very discreet

Care and Maintenance

I've opted to keep my toy in it's box whenever I'm not using it. After playing in the shower, I spritz it with a toy cleaner, wipe it down, and make sure it is completely dry. Seeing as it's used in the shower, I would rather it not build up mold or anything, which seems more likely with a toy that spends it's whole life in and around water. So after it's completely dry I drop it right back in it's box and store it away, keeping it in a cool, dry closet.
    • Easy to clean

Personal comments

I don't usually like any toy that doesn't vibrate. I have very limited internal sensations, so if it doesn't go bzzz I don't really want it. But with this simple dildo, I was intrigued by the idea of attaching it to a flat surface and just...going to town on it. The fact that I did, and enjoyed it, means a lot to me. I couldn't reach orgasm with the dildo alone, unfortunately, a powerful bullet was still needed on the outside, but the versatility of the suction cup made my play time more...fun, plain and simple. I like that.
Follow-up commentary
I still really love this thing. It's hard finding the right position for it in the tub, but the ability to be hands free (leaving my hands to do other things) is really great.
