Celebrate it's a slice duo - bath and shower gel discontinued by Cake Beauty - review by Lady Neshamah

It's a given. It's a bath product, Lady Dream Kitten is going to pick it up at some point or is going to try to. Yeah, I know. I'm totally a bath junkie.

Celebrate It's A Slice Duo is a body wash and hand lotion set. The body wash comes in a seventeen point four ounce bottle with a pop top. The hand lotion comes in a three point four ounce tube with a flip top. It has the same textures as the Sweet Scape Desserted Island Duo and is a thick hand lotion and a very light body wash. It has the smell of vanilla and oranges mixed with just a hind of spices. The hand lotion is made out of water/eau, glycerin, cetyl alcohol, glyceryl stearate, cetearyl alcohol, cetearet-20, dimethicone, stearic acid, althaea officinalis (marshmallow) extract, milk lipid, mangifera indica (mango) seed butter, butyrospermum parkii (shea butter) phenoxyethanol, caprylyl glycol, sorbic acid, parfum (fragrance), carbomer, sodium hydroxide, tetrasodium EDTA, CI 15985 (yellow 6), and CI 16035 (Red 40). The body wash is made out of water (aqua), sodium laureth sulfate, cocamidopropyl betaine, glycerin, PEG-7 glyceryl cocoate, laureth-7, cocamide MEA, glycol distearate, parfum (fragrance), vitamin E (tocopheryl acetate), cocos nucifera (coconut oil), phenoxyethanol (and) caprylyl glycol (and) sorbic acid, tetrasodium EDTA, benzophenone-4, citric acid, CI 15985 (yellow 6), and CI 16035 (red 40).

The hand lotion was very good and held on the skin through a few hand washes. The body wash also was very good and it didn't take much for the stuff to really suds up or to get a full bath of bubbles.

But the major problem is the scent. It was over powering and actually more of a bitter scent than the sweet scent that I was expecting. The smell held on the skin for the whole day and I did have to dull it down with body sprays.

As much as I liked the scent of Sweet Scape Desserted Island Duo, I didn't like the Celebrate It's A Slice Duo.

Even though I didn't like this set as much as the other set, my Celebrate It's A Slice Duo also didn't last that long at all.
