This "Celebrate it's a Slice Duo: Bath and Shower Gel" by Cake Beauty, is a wonderful combination duo set for your skin. Start off using the "Bath and Shower Froth", work up a lather to help clean and moisturize your body. Or use it as a wonderful luxurious bubble bath, both ways work wonders for your skin.

Finish off after a shower or bath with the wonderful Velveteen Hand Creme that comes included in the set. It's mild enough for daily use, and will leave your skin soft, silky, and non-greasy. The hand creme is small enough that you can toss it in your purse, or keep it in your medicine cabinet.

This Bath and Shower Gel Duo would make for an excellent gift, as it's excellent quality, and the packaging is pretty.

Starting with the bath gel, the texture of it is a little thick, but not too thick. It's thin enough that it can pour out of the bottle easily, but not too thin that it would leak from the bottle. The gel is a frosted peach color, and is super creamy in your hands. It's smooth, velvety, and lathers up soap suds nicely on the skin. It leaves your skin feeling clean, fresh, soft, and smelling fruity.





The product is all natural and doesn't test on animals. It contains pure virgin oil de coco creme, vitamin E, and many other nourishing vitamins.

The Velveteen Hand Creme: The texture of this product is wonderful. It's smooth, velvety, creamy, and doesn't leave a sticky or oily feeling. It's the perfect consistency, not overly thick, but not too thin either. It squeezes out of the bottle with little effort, but wont run out if sitting on the bed. It's the perfect consistency, that it doesn't leak out of the bottle, which makes it perfect for carrying in your purse without any worry.

When applying the creme to your hands, it takes less then a minute to soak in. In the beginning you would think that it might be greasy, but that only lasts a few seconds. As soon as you start rubbing your hands, it nicely soaks into your skin. It leaves your skin feeling refreshed, silky and smooth, and actually doesn't wash away instantly when placing your hands under water. The creme is light peach in color, and contains a little bit of yellow and red dyes. A little goes a long way, you only need a pea or dime size to fully moisturize your hands.

Cake products contain up to 95% natural ingredients that are derived from sustainable and renewable resources. They are also 100% paraben free and stand firm against animal testing, hence all products are "approved by beauty junkies" – not tested on animals .

Starting with the Bath/Shower Froth the smell is amazing. Squeezing the product out of the bottle, you get a combination of scents that hit you: vanilla, mango, coconut, and a hit of spice. It smells almost good enough to eat! Too bad it doesn't taste as good as it smells. Yes, I actually tasted it and it's a little sweet, with a perfume like taste. I wouldn't advise eating, drinking, or licking this product.

The Velveteen Hand Creme has the same fragrance as the Bath and Shower Froth. It too has a vanilla, mango, coconut smell, and smells yummy as well. This product tastes a little sweeter then the Bath and Shower Froth, but still has a hint of a perfume taste. I wouldn't advise eating or licking this product either.

Both items are meant to compliment each other, and they smell wonderful on the skin. The scent lasts for quite a long time, leaving a fruity smell.

Overall, I have to say that I love this gift set. Both products are wonderful on the skin, and smell so incredibly yummy. Both absorb into the skin fairly quick, leaving the skin soft, refreshed, and smelling great. I have sensitive skin, and I had no problem with either products. I suffer from psoriasis, and was a little afraid to use the Bath and Body Froth, but to my surprise, it didn't irritate my skin.

This is another excellent quality product by Cake Beauty, and I can't wait to try another. I'm in love with their products, and so happy that they're earth and animal friendly. This would make for an excellent gift.

When it comes to the packaging, the gift set comes in a recyclable cardboard box. The box is 4.5" wide, 6.5" high, and 3" thick. The front of the box is a light peach color, and has a picture of the two products. It says "celebrate!" at the top, and at the bottom has the Cake logo, and "Sweet Orange & Vanilla Cream" written. In the background there is little pieces of confetti that's floating around.



The back of the box is the same color and has the same confetti pattern. At the top is the Cake logo, and "celebrate!" written. Then below it is the product description, which includes a breakdown of ingredients for each product.



The box is well made, that it's actually divided inside to separately hold each item in place. This helps keep the products from leaking, and makes it a nice professional presentation.







The bottle for the Bath and Shower Froth is made of clear plastic, so you can see the pretty color of the liquid. The bottle measures 6.5" high, roughly 3" wide, and is 515ml/ 17.4oz.

When it comes to packaging of the hand creme, it comes in a plastic flip-top 100ml/3.4fl.oz bottle. The size of the bottle is 5.5" in length, and 1.5" in width, and is roughly about 1.5" thick. The size of the bottle is perfect for travelling, and can easily be carried in your purse. On the back of the bottle, there's an icon that symbolizes that the product is green. You're able to recycle the bottle once it's finished.
